  1. If you are in the Lakeview, AR area Big Reds Tackle is a great place keyed into Bull Shoals fisherpeople. I agree about the Branson BPS. It's just for tourist. The last 3 times I've been there BPS did not have the everyday supplies I needed like a winch strap and some very common lures.
  2. Out of the Protem area I would try Elbow and Shoal Creek....and just across the lake is 3 finger and 5 finger cove. Also try East and West Sugarloaf creeks. It should break loose in these areas any time now.
  3. Hi Phil, My wife Sandy and I had planned to be at the fish fry, but a situation has popped up that we must take care of out of town this weekend. Please remove us from the list. We sure hate to miss the get together. Next time for sure. Roger Burch
  4. My wife Sandy and I are planning to be there...so put us on the list. Hopefully we'll have some Bull Shoals crappie to throw in the pot. We are looking forward to seeing all of you.
  5. Their web site probably has the results posted. www.missouritbf.com
  6. The Missouri Bass Federation tournament out of Diamond City Nov. 3 and 4 produced some nice catches.
  7. Hi, Sounds like you made an excellent choice. Blue Waters resort puts you in the middle of the lake and there is excellent smallmouth bass fishing in 5 fingers cove. You are also close to Shoal Creek. I have caught Smallmouth, Largemouth, Kentucky bass, walleye and crappie in Shoal creek. You are also close to the large flats and East and West Sugarloaf creeks. Great to have you coming to Bull Shoals.
  8. Hi, We would love to have you stay in the Diamond City area. We are in the middle section of the lake and there are lots of places to stay. Here's a link with more information http://thelakeshoredistricts.com/ The Tournament headquarters out of the City of Bull Shoals...so it could be crowded there...but Diamond City is just a short drive from the tournament headquarters. The winning bass were caught in West Sugarloaf creek at Diamond City in last year's Elite Tournament... I hope this helps.
  9. There really is a lot at Mid Lake....About 10 places in Diamond City...Several places in Peel and There's Tucker Hollow....here's is link to Brass Bell...http://brassbellcottages.com/fish.html
  10. Here is a link to the mid lake Sugarloaf area of the lake. Diamond City, AR has several great places to stay...some with over night boat slips available. There is great launching also. Check us out....you will like fishing out of Diamond City. http://thelakeshoredistricts.com/
  11. The Diamond City area of the lake offers several large flats and deep bluffs and points that are excellent for Walleye. We have had several good reports in the last few days. Oct. 15th is still a ways away...so it's hard to predict where the Walleye will be then.....but likely will be on the flats or along the bluffs and points. If you have a lake map...good catches have been reported from Elbow Creek to Shoals Creek and Diamond City is located between the two creeks along with East and West Sugarloaf. The old Walleye breeding pond is located in East Sugarloaf....and there are usually Walleye catches reported from East Sugarloaf. Also check Mike Worley's site...he's is an excellent Walleye guide his web site is http://bullshoalsfishing.com By the way, my wife is from St. Louis and wants to know what high school you attended.
  12. Hi, We would love to have you come to the Diamond City section of the lake. Diamond City puts you in the central part of the lake. Diamond City is located between West Sugarloaf and East Sugarloaf creeks. If you follow bass fishing....West Sugarloaf produced the fish for Brandon Paluniak's Elite Series win this year. The Walleye fishing and Bass fishing should be getting really good by October 15th. Here's a link for information on our part of the lake. http://thelakeshoredistricts.com/ Looking forward to seeing you.
