Thank you sir.I really appreciate those kind words. I'm no perfect parent and don't believe there is one but I love learning everyday from both of my boys. There's always something new there everyday some bad and some good. I love both my boy's and wife more then life it's itself. Champ im going to take a moment to brag on you. I've been apart of this site since 12 amd have always enjoyed the way your write your reports with such skills and love. Anyone that reads your post knows you truly love table rock and people like you will insure that this lake has fish in it for both my boys and there boys for that thank you.

Seeing these pictures make me wanna throw up. These are fish that will lay the eggs to my kids and his kids fish and so on. Champ you shouldn't apologize or be expected to for your comments that was the truth and people need to hear it. Thank you. Why would you not keep the cats and walleye? Why the bass?

I made it to virgin Bluffs before turning around water was very muddy and debris was everywhere big trees small stuff you name it it was there. water temp was 73. Cape fair marina down was clear I didn't go pass Piney.

Thank you sir. My family is everything to me and teaching my boy's the best I can is very important in my eyes. We absolutely had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime. We are very fortunate to live 30 min away from the lake and spend as much time together as possible. Im sure your 7 year old grand baby loves the time he gets to spend with his dad and poppa. I know my oldest is 6 going on 16 lol. He loves the time him and his grandpa get together. Me and my wife are very lucky to have parents that love being grandparents and want to spend time with them as much as possible. Sometimes to much when they spoil them rotten the saying it comes back two folds is true. Wouldn't have it any other way. Im a lucky man.

Thank you. I agree with keeping the kids outdoors. To many in my opinion are sitting in front of the tv's or phones playing games. Less with rods and reels I didn't even think about posting on here now im kicking myself. Would of loved to meet some people from this page.

Took my little family out Monday for a little family fun. We launched at cape fair around 0930 and ran to wolley. I started with a buzz bait and caught a decent keeper 3rd cast and I had my oldest cooper tied on a ned rig he started catching fish right off the bat also. While my wife and my youngest and our puppy laid out enjoying the wonderful weather. We worked that cove for a couple hours catching fish though out the morning. Cash my youngest started getting tired so I decided that a little run would put him right to sleep. { always did the trick for me when I was younger} So I wanted to run up the river to see what it looked like made it to virgin bluff and started to see big logs and trash so we turned around and went back to the main lake stopped at piney and I picked up a jig and started flipping the bushes had some success. Cooper wanted to throw a frog so I tied one on. I told him to cast close as possible to the brush and see what happens well around the 5 cast a massive blow up. I asked did you get him he said " o yeah" and the look on his face was priceless. well he fought it for around 40 seconds and I could see flashes of it. then I heard snap his ol zebco ultra light not built for a good 3lb bass broke in half and there goes his biggest bass to date, broke the kids heart then the talk of that's why we keep fishing and we don't always get them in talk, Left the water around 1600 with 4 keepers and between me and cooper around 15 fish. We really had a great time like always. This isn't a fishing topic but thought I would add another trip me and my family had the chance to do this past weekend. For those that aren't aware of the new trend going on with my generation. But they think its ok to stomp on our American flag and burn it, not to mention the past events that went on in st Louis and all over the country. Well i meet this amazing group of young men around my age that started this page called ride for America on facebook. We were going to get a group of men and women to do a drive though springfield this past weekend where we put American flags on our vehicles to show that we will not stand for this and that we will fly our flags high and proud. We met around 1400 on sat well we had over 100 people and 50 vehicles show up and show there support. There was very age group you could think of and the people i met are now friends for life. This drive really hit me hard both my grandparents are retired us navy officer and the support we had while driving down the road people honking waving. When we passed this older man walking his dog he could hardly walk stopped and started waving and giving up the thumbs up. This really brought tears to my eyes. We all get so busy in our daily lifes and forget sometimes what these men and women do for this wonderful country. We might not all agree on fishing topics or what we are doing as a country but i think we all can agree that these men and women are all hero's' This gave me the chance to talk to my boy about our flag and what it means to our country and the ethics of how to take care of it. The moment we said the pledge of allegiance with my son by my side and i looked down and he had removed his hat and had it placed over his heart I knew I was doing something right. If you see a member of the arm forces please take time and say thanks for his or her service. I am sorry for the long post i just fill very strongly on this topic and love my fishing and family. Yeah I've yet to ever weight in a 30lb sack more Less a 40+. Bet that ol boy was was sick. But I bet that was a day he'll never forget.
