  5. this comes from a fellow that has fished with some great anglers years ago. Gil Boden out of springfield and Rich Elbert also from springfield ? both were very important in my life. we fished and I learned awesome patterns and tactics. we won many times we placed even more But with work. I have been very busy for 15 years this has taken a huge hit because of not being able to focus on fishing thoughts while at work. And my on water time was cut by 75% . Now the prideful and meaning ful side. For the last 15 years when I go fishing it is with a very small portion of freinds and my son . The time I have spent with my son and the countless rolls of film on him with fish. And deer is crazy for sure. there is not a day that goes by that I hope I will get to go fishing with my son .. this weekend I think I held my grand daughter so long I wore skin off those cute legs .hahahahaha Fishing with your children is a meaningful tradition and memory that will never fade. I thank our lord for these times Any one that reads this will remember fishing with their dad and grandpa. If they think hard enough.
  6. Sorry to here this. That lighting system is impressive. But for a old guy like me. It's like looking at a UFO And blinds me so bad I have sensations of lost balance ! With this and arrows flying around me. I kinda of snapped. And informed. This party. I n a round about way I would board that vessel with a knife in my teeth like a pirate. They very kindly respected me. I happen to know. They are considerate people. And are having good time and caught up in moment
  7. C small top waters are hours of fun right now
  8. The one with the shakes head was amazing Jim.
  9. Thanks for the reports Bob
  10. Jim you all make jig heads for people to save and build there own . Don't you?
  11. That is a good read. .... I like iaconelli hook sets myself. But jim doesn't allow running in his ranger
  12. I'd express to focus you attention to presentation and location. either area you mention water coloring prevails over line selection , other than the line behavior and characteristics.... If you a anchor to spots. Choose areas where bank consistency changes. Type of structure. Also. Gravel rock types wood covers. Tubes ,underspins and Ned rigs. Are probly unbeatable
  13. Culling is the practice of releasing one fish that was caught previously so you can keep a larger one. When anglers put the last fish of their daily limit in a live well, they no longer can keep any fish of that species that day. However, under certain conditions, anglers fishing in tournaments can continue to fish if they stop one fish short of a limit and release a living fish from their live well before replacing it with a fish they just caught. This allows them to “trade up,” replacing one fish with a larger one. Tournament bass anglers may cull live bass from September through June. July and August are the months the no culling rule applies. The rule is meant to reduce the number of tournament-caught bass that are subject to higher mortality during the hot summer months. The rule also heightens tournament anglers’ awareness of the factors that influence fish mortality. Missouri’s limit on black bass is six per day. This includes any bass that are not released immediately, whether they are in live wells for one minute or for eight hours. Once you placed a sixth bass in your live well you may not replace any of the bass with another. However, if you are fishing in a tournament in which the limit is five bass, and you have five bass in the live well, you can replace one fish, one time. If a bass dies in your live well it cannot be replaced with a live one, any time. If you have caught your sixth legal bass and have placed all six fish in your live well for any length of time, you can continue fishing but you must release any bass caught immediately, regardless of size.
  14. That's the mile markers where i see the action
  15. 5. I've seen several pulled from mouth of rock cuts in high point area.
  16. Nice job shad team. Thanks for the fry invite.
  17. One thought to be considered. Is. A 12 fish limit between both anglers. I see people argue all the time on if a fish is expired or living. I trust myself.

    Boat Size

This is a great area to be protected with wind patterns this time of year. Decent fishing also. They have a several you can pull your boat right up and beach it.
  19. Pretty neat. Little bait. I'm still trying. One thing I need to improve immediately is hooking up! I was welcomed by a forum member. KETCHUP. He shared a hour of his time talking and telling me details to help learn this bait... I consider his help a real time saver. Not many out there that will show you the bait give details on how and where to throw it ...but Ketchup did next was Sac Jim. Not only did he help me pic my terminal tackle ... He took my order. Assembled the stuff. Then took me to the water for the lesson. How many manufacturers out there will sell to you and then give you a guided trip showing you the does and donts... But this fellow did ! My advice if I have any on this setup is Purchase a hook disgorged like I have. It will greatly protect fish on the hook removal. It is a great arsenal for every angler. It cost me $1.45. Attached is a photo.
  20. . Shad. You all rippppped them !
  21. That's a great perspective jim. Personally I always thot it was even more rewarding to know you were blessed and be appreciative for it as well. To be .....thank ful ! I see many people that get to Go fishing and truthfully are not having fun ? Kinda like this forum. I can personally say that the things I read on here stimulate the mind and get me to thinking with different angles So many people have helped me with there generosity of advice.
  22. Heck ya. Now that is rewarding with your son. Great job
  23. Swap to a Rays custom spinnerbait. Think it will help you. Bite pretty good around high point
  24. From the diferent. Post I've read on hear. It seems as if there is a definite time of when and where to throw this I have ordered some Ned heads. Gonna have to try this setup. Thank you for all the post s on how to learn this set up
