    Felt like some fish backed off, but they weren't playing on the places you'd expected them to be. Still a pretty strong shallow bite.

    It's not bothering us here. But I sort of deal with it. Fish seem to be live and eat around it just fine.

    Same for me, Bo. I still love the old grayscale X-17 on my console. And I have an in-dash 1240A for running shallow.

    Gentleman I spoke with said it completely changed how he thought about fish using stumps and brush piles.

    Appreciate the offer. Think I managed to trick it into some kind of reboot, courtesy of the interwebs. Didn't work when we tried the trick on the water, or initially off. Took several tries.

    That Garmin is the real deal. Talked with a guide at LOZ about it this winter. He said it was simply eye opening seeing how fish actually behave once you use it. That said...I'll settle for showing depth and temp for the next two weeks. Maybe a brush or rock pile along the way 🙂.

    I kind of despise it anyway, lol. Oddly enough, I put it on here at the room about 4-5 years ago, because my old X15 pushed up daisies on an April pilgrimage.

    Front graph decided not to power on. It's hot, because it will occasionally flash the Lowrance intro screen. Planning to try a couple of workarounds, if it quits raining. We need a cheapo for our tin boat anyway, so I'm not opposed to buying one.
