Hey Vpk, that was me...i will be sure to introduce myself next time. I had 10 or so with 3 or 4 keepers...mostly on sbait and a couple shorts on a jig. Will post a full report and video later today

Thanks for the report! I threw the rk around some on Monday but the sb bite was too good to put down in the darn area. May have to try cranking a little more tomorrow if i come down
I didn't have a problem with anyone...i was fishing the bank leading into behind the docks and then fished a couple of the empty ones in the very back. Granted the marina was closed and there were just a couple people down by the boats slips. Great thing about winter/fall is that its pretty quiet there and anybody you run into is usually fishing. I think I'm coming back down tomorrow for a few hours again....hopefully i can have another successful day!!!
Put in at 7:30am at Orleans Trail to a nice 60 degree air temp and a pretty strong south wind. Water was 57 degrees. Started in orleans and had 6-7 bass right away on a spinnerbait...stayed in the darn area to avoid the wind rolling down the main lake...fished in RB and crabtree and caught fish the whole time. Fish were definitely on the last deeper bank in the back of pockets that had wind blowing against them. After a few hours I braved the wind and headed for the back half of Price branch and continued to crush them on a spinnerbait. Did catch a couple on a jig and rock crawler but the spinnerbait ruled the cloudy windy conditions. Finished the day back in orleans trail and caught a couple more before the last fish of the day broke the arm of my spinnerbait. Got off the water at 3pm. Water temp ranged from 55 to 58 degrees. Fish were right on the bank. Caught 30-40 bass with probably 15 keepers with them mostly being largemouth...did have a couple keeper smallies and one keeper spot. No giants but did have 3 that were just over 3 lbs...rest were typical 15-16" keepers. Had a great day...best day with a spinnerbait I have had in a long time. Didn't see another boat all day either. Hopefully I can get back down later this week!! Got a bunch of them on my go pro...should have a video up in a day or so. Here are pics for now of a couple of the better ones.
Thanks for the report...heading down Monday for the day....haven't been down for a couple months. Ready to get back on Stockton during the winter months
Not sure why they lowered the lake so much...was fishing this past weekend for bass...they were still around brushpiles in 15-20 fow...could usually catch 2-3 fish out of a brushpile that was out on a flat point...big worms and jigs.
What are the names of these two ramps in the hermitage/state park area. Will be getting a regatta permit and can't remember what the official name of these two ramps...mostly the north ramps
Thanks
Jeremy
Next one is 6/24. I will be down this weekend with the family and some friends to do a little fishing and enjoying the lake for Father's day. Everyone be safe and catch some hawgs!!
Last couple times I have been out there was a good spook bite after 7pm. This was a week ago and in the little sac arm. Haven't been over by mutton in the evening. Can't get a topwater bit in the morning going at all. Will be out there Friday and Saturday...hopefully this warmer weather will get them moving out to their summer haunts and a little more predictable
