Apathy isn't a superstition. I do agree it, apathy, is the root of most of our problems. The real problem is we took too long to wake up. The government is either already in control of groups who expect others to support them or they soon will be. The notion of poor, middle class and rich is a scam. There are many poor that are that way because they live as they want to live and don't expect help, the so called middle class is between the poor and the rich and has no other classification. The rich is anyone who is comfortable economically, or has the magic million dollars or more in assets.
The government is only corrupt because it has been allowed to be, board members pay themselves obscene amounts because stockholders allow it. No one votes for individual peers anymore, they vote in the contest between Democrats and Republicans.
The last election was a real bell ringer. Whether you like Obama or not, he did nothing he promised and had no accomplishments except enriching certain voter blocs. Those blocs who voted for what they could get legally from someones labor other than their own determined the election.
By the time the next one rolls around there will be millions more who will be standing in the free line and the plummet will begin. The only hope is that a large enough group will throw aside any other concerns and break the chain of socialism and allow the country to go back to a liberal/conservative social society that can be maintained for all.
