had some nice keepers this weekend, lot of shorts in the 6 to 8 inch range, but did get into some right at 10 inchers also didn't keep them, they should be good keepers by next spring
you can go to your settings & put it on simulater, its like being on the water you can start playing with sensitivety, surface clutter, etc or go on lowrance web site they have some demo`s on how to set it up
FISHED sons creek area also put in at 39 bridge, we ended up with 9 crappie caught 3 around stumps with cork & jig but had to hit a bunch of stumps to get the 3, found the rest out on the flats in about 6 - 7 feet water
wish i could help you out, seen some post that the whites have ben biting i`m takeing my dad fishing sunday for crappie, he`s 80 yrs too, gong to try cc area thats his fravorite area to fish hope some are biteing, good luck
stoped by there today, not for sure on water temp, clarity still a little murky, but a big improvement from last weekend, should be good, going up sunday
fished cc sunday it was very muddy caught some short fish couple keepers in a cove till the mud line moved in , does any one know if theres enough water to put in at 39 bridge
floated last year from lime kiln to tipton ford nice strecth of water, were going to try & float it again this year, live closer to joplin so usually fish this area, but have fished father up a couple times smackout to richie couple times is there good access at allen bridge
fished friday & saturday ruark area caught bunch of bass but was after crappie, had 9 keeper crappie & 1 walleye friday, & about the same saturday scattered out 1 here 1 there for me about 8 to fifteen feet
