  1. Put in at Big M on Saturday morning and took out around 2PM. It was the first trip I have made to Table Rock in well over a month. Water temp was 78-83 Fished main lake, secondary points, and a few docks. Threw a spinner bait, spook, drop shot, and jig. Ended up with 3 keepers. 1 on a spook, 1 on a drop shot, and 1 on a jig. 7-8 short fish. All on a drop shot except for 1 on a jig. Drop shot fish were mostly bottom related, near brush in 25'35' FOW. I was really expecting a better morning bite with the cloud cover but I did not get much started till about 9AM. I know it's a couple days late but hopefully this helps some.
  2. I'm thinking about getting out one night this weekend. What ramps are accessible on the lower end? I usually put in at Old 86
  3. that's a beauty crankbait sore thumbs. anyone in the NWA area carry them?
  4. 1Farmer- I recently went with a basscat for my first boat purchase. Been in a bassboat for years now but still getting acclimated to my Cougar. Please explain by what ya mean "drives itself in side waves". Any and all information helps. Thanks everyone
  5. Mine came in from HSL yesterday too. I was even more impressed after seeing them in person. I was also told you can throw them on heavier line and still get to the 12' range with the bait.
  6. Thanks Al. Thats good to know. I recently bought a river boat and want to get it down there once the water gets up.
  7. Is 189 CFS high enough to motor up to Rush in a flat bottom from Buffalo City?
  8. Had a good day with shad color stick baits above white hole with 2 gens. The biggest brown weighed close to 4 #. Once the water dropped we struggled to find the bite for a brown. Continued to throw the stick bait till 1300 and then focused on rainbows. Great trip all in all. Stayed at White Hole Resorts. Would recommend it to anyone that is looking to catch some fish.
  9. I'm in the same boat. Would really like to hear Phillip speak but I'm not in the Springfield area.
  10. Looks like a great trip. I tried the Diamond City area from 1030-1500 but couldn't find a jerkbait bite at all. I did talk to one other guy at the loading ramp (claimed he threw a jerkbait most of his trip) who caught one 3# black on the A-rig and that was his only bite. Not sure what I was doing wrong with the jerkbait...... color (cell mate by Spro), cadence , area (fished main lake points and 1/2 way back in creeks) , depth (5')?
  11. I am selling a Summit Viper SD climbing stand. The stand is practically brand new. I hunted out of it twice last year. Great for bow and rifle hunting. The stand has cushioned armrests, padded climbing seat bar, backpack straps. Seat: 12" x 18" x 2". Backrest: 12" x 20" x 2". Inside Climber Frame: 19.75" x 26.5". Platform: 20" x 29". Weight: 20 lbs. The stand also includes the "Dead Metal Technology" Asking $250. and O.B.O If interested contact me on here. Thanks, BC
  12. I put in at Diamond City this AM. Fished from 0530 till 0930. The bite was real good on a top water ( pop-r or spook) till around 0800. Most of the fish came on main lake flats, points, and pockets in 2-10 FOW. I did catch a couple schooling kentuckys in 50+ FOW (right place at the right time I guess). All of my fishing was done within eyesight of the loading ramp. Had some other plans mid-day or I would've stayed longer and tried a jig or Carolina rig in some of the deeper areas I fished. Has anyone had luck with the deeper fish? Any info would help. Good luck to all!
  13. Well, we ended up having a great trip. The water was on the low side but the fishing made up for it. Easily caught 30+ smallmouth with 4 over 16" and one that pushed 18". They bit everything we threw at them (brush hogs, lizards, live minnows, tubes). Will definatly be going back soon.
  14. Thanks for the info guys.
  15. Haha just realized that was backwards, that would be a tough paddle. Talked to a friend today that had some luck w/ a fluke over the weekend.
  16. Going to make a trip to Crooked Creek this Sunday with my Grandpa. Will be fishing Snow to Pyatt. I figure the bite has turned on with it being the middle part of June already. If anyone has been, or plans on going soon I would love to hear a report. Thanks and Good Luck
  17. It was a real good trip. Thanks
  18. Fished the Long Creek area Tuesday night and fished well into the morning of 5/29/13. Had 7 total keepers (all black bass) and 5-6 short fish. (2) went 5+ lbs and (1) was 6 lb even. Most of the bites came on the bottom in 5'-20' FOW. Went back the following night had a decent trip (until the storm forced us off the water) with a few keepers but nothing close to the size we had the night before.
