4-22 put in near Dam. Fished emerald point and long creek. Started at 11::00and took out at 5. Caught 20. 5 keepers Ned fluke and jerk bait. Also one on biffle bug. Got top water hits but couldn't land. 4-23 put in at 4:00 fished until dark. Caught 17 with 2 keepers. Ned rig pb&j. And spook for 10 of the fish. Main lake and secondary points couple in the back of pockets My my question is about the Strike king sexy dawg with 3 hooks. Got bit but lost each fish. The big Zara spook with 3 hooks never failed. Have other experienced this with the strike king? Would bigger hooks help? Thanks again. This forum is so helpful.

Uni knot is where I have landed. It is quick and seems to work for all situations... and easier to teach to my kids.

I use the open hook on a fish hedz. Expensive jig head but does work.. I need to try the underspin more it seems to be popular.

HDS 5X and HDS 8 insight The 5 is color sonar only best i can tell. I too too like the idea of bigger screen up front. Thanks for the input that side scan would be the first thing to give up. I may look at replacement or addition of a screen up front for now Thanks

The issue was two tires out of balance. Just as several people thought. Thanks Also had water in the bearings,

I currently have a 9 inch Lowrance at the drivers seat with GPS and sonar. At the bow I have 5 inch Lowrance with sonar only. I know I want to get a bigger screen up front and want the GPS map for sure with the sonar. Is sidescan really that helpful? How about downscan? Is hummingbird a better choice.. I know it is often the ford versus chevy argument. If I upgrade with a budget of 3000 what would you suggest. I have room to add a big screen in the dash at drivers seat. Thanks for any help. The Blue Eye burger is one of my favorites.

Did a test drive last night after adjusting the drop hitch... still had issues... closer inspection reveals uneven tire wear on the right side tires. Will get them checked for balance etc.

I apologize i thought the question was regarding how many boats tied up to a dock. Overloading could be very dangerous.

I can't imagine doing so for a long weekend etc. would cause any problems

Have a F350 pulling a 2011 Ranger 522. At 70 mph i get a vibration. Not every time but many times. Any suggestions? I might need to adjust the drop hitch higher. It is level or slightly low on front. Thanks.

Water temp was as high as 64 up shallow but mostly 58

Fished 3:30 to 7:00. Caught 16 with Four keepers. Swim bait kitech and ned rig. Main lake pockets and points. On bank to 25 feet deep. Really appreciate the posts on here thanks

I have Ranger 522 with Yamaha 250. Had issues with tilt piston. Mechanic suggested transom saver that rests on trailer. The Yamaha tube seems to put all the pressure on the piston I bought a transom saver that rests against trailer seems sturdy but it broke twice on first trip. Should i get the type that looks like an H and if so what brand? thanks for any help. Caught 6 this morning out of Big M. Swim bait in 30-40 foot and Ned rig near bluff.

Took my youngest son 11 fishing had some early top water bite and he got this dandy on the plopper. Had a lady drive her boat right over some surfacing fish that we were throwing at. Guess he wasn't awake yet. Caught 9 that day. Slower but still a great day with my son. The 4:30 wake up call caught with him quick. Ned rig or top water were only producers. Squarebill and underspin did not pan out . We quit by 10:30

With the Keitech did they load up or hit it pretty hard?? I am having trouble keeping fish on with this bait lately

Most of the resorts have parking space for trailers. If not maybe lock the trailer up at the state park??
