    i also have a couple of Falcon 5'6 ultralight rods that i like alot as well but last year i bought the 6'6 sore lipper series and like them even better and i like that longer rod alot better and they are half the price. I still use the Falcons though and they are really nice on the dock if your fishing under a roof because it's easier to set the hook without hitting your rod on the roof.

    I have a couple of the sore lip series rods from trout magnet and I love them! They are 6'6 and stout for casting a jig but the tip is soft for fighting fish on light line. They are only like $35 to.

    I believe I may have seen that deer across from fall creek resort Thanksgiving morning. I watched it go in the water and drink then layed down awhile. It was struggling to walk to with a broken leg.

    I have a question. I'm not there now but a general question. Are you allowed to fish off the 2 small docks along the landing walkway?

    Do you always use that line Phil? What about a tippet? I'm assuming when the water is running 4 pound no tippet and when its off 4 pound with a 2 lb tippet?

    That's fantastic news. Nothing better than dock fishing with 3 units running. Shoulda brought the boat this time but I've been blessed with 4 trips here this year and the other 3 were great and this one is all about family anyhow.

    I've got 10 days left until. 7 day Thanksgiving week holiday and I can't wait! I hope the weather is good and the water is off cause I'm limited to dock fishing this trip

    When we were at the hatchery about 15 days ago there was a race full of browns of all different sizes. They told us they were going to stock them very shortly. Wonder is perhaps these are some of them?

    We caught lots of fish between short creek and trout hollow and right across from the cooper creek access and at monkey island this weekend all on magnets. 2 weeks ago we caught all we wanted on magnets in front of fall creeks dock down river 200 yrds or so

    They are usually pretty good about not running much water if any at all on labor day weekend especially with the lake levels back down.

    If I was to rent a condo at point totaled would I be able to wade fish with a spinning rod and jigs very easily in that area?

    I use silver on white and gold in the pinks and others . It doesn't really make any difference though

    2 more questions. has any one fished off the dock at fall creek and if so how was the fishing. The other question is, if i do rent a condo it's right on some of that rip rap and has anyone seen anyone fishing off the rip rap or can you even get down to the water? i'll be fishing a jig and float up there about 90& of the time so i was hoping the water along the rip rap would be good for that or the dock would be good for that?

    thanks for the info. guess if i bring the boat down i'll use the cooper ramp then. i've never stayed up at fall creek, thinking about renting a condo but i'm apprehensive a little bit. i've always stayed down lake at Lilleys, Trout Hollow or Lazy valley so i'm not sure what to expect. Especially the dock fishing if i don't bring the boat........

    Thinking about renting a condo this winter. I wanted to know if the Fall Creek Boat ramp is useable or see if anyone has used it before?
