I’ve got some good new to report. Mother in-law who is 82 has been fully recovered for several days now. She got a letter from the health department on Tuesday saying she was cleared, even though she wasn’t tested and they seemed to forget she was taking care of her 86 year old husband, who was just returned home via ambulance on Good Friday while still suffering. He was getting worse in the hospital. So upon his return, we didn’t think he would make it through the night. After 3 rough days, and a few interspersed good and bad days, he has now put together several consecutive good days and turned the corner. Home health care visits from nurses has been very helpful and something we could not get a few weeks ago. He has been extremely weak and sick for over 5 weeks though never on a ventilator. And both were in great health prior, no underlying conditions. My wife and kids and I have been on an emotional roller coaster during much of this time. We are very lucky and blessed. Thank you to all who have reached out for support, Ness, N9bow, Terrieman, Flysmallie, and others. Peace. A picture of my father in law coming home almost 2 weeks ago, his front porch flag in the background which he replaces every year with a new flag. God bless our front line EMT’s, doctors, nurses, and caregivers.
