  1. You can wade but real muddy and swift . I think after the rain and warm up next week they will be on. I keep wanting them to be early but not enough rain yet.
  2. Hit the river Monday hoping to track down a white bass or two. Well I got three all males full of milt. No females yet and males were in eddies feeding on the bottom. Saw a fella with a stringer full of males and a walleye. He had been up above 215. Looked like down the path where that bike trail goes. Also caught ten largies and a smallie . All in all an enjoyable day just had a few hours so couldn't move around A lot. Spent most time under 215 bridge and below Taylor. Good luck out there guys
  3. Lol that's great! Usually those are the days you do best!
  4. Good to hear they caught some at least!
  5. Last year we found close to thirty in May down here. Hope to go earlier this year. I going to do s walk through this next week to check after the 70 degree weekend should see some
  6. Ty for the report. Hope Monday is better.
  7. Maybe take fly rod and wade down from taylor.
  8. How early did you get down there? I'm going Monday early early to try and get somewhere with them.
  9. And the magicbait is Ned rig apparently
  10. I have found that all the posts negative or positive on this forum serve their purpose. I learned about plateau here and have shared tips and tricks with other people,I even have bumped into family on here! Also I have seen rudeness and bitterness, some of which was warranted and some just cabin fever getting out of hand. All in all it is a place to learn and make acquaintance with other anglers who just need an outlet for the fishing blues. Happy or crappy learning is the best function of oaf in my opinion. Lurking just seems kinda silly since you can't be seen anyway so join and learn!
  11. I've always had luck in canoe but didn't get to take it last year. I usually use a road runner or rooster tail in white or white and Chartreuse. Purple grub worked goo in 2012. Hope they are up Monday after the 70 degree weekend.
  12. Cool man. Thanks I'm going Monday next week so I hope to catch some. Last year didn't go so well
  13. If you are in the river you're fine. Also the parking lot by the new bridge Is public but if you park at mill it costs.
  14. Any snakes ?
  15. Love those days! Glad you caught some!
  16. Anyone actually catching at Taylor yet?
  17. Should be seeing some pop first couple weeks of April with this cold snap probably won't be as soon as I thought
  18. I know we should start a new thread lol
  19. Mostly fish from bank or close to it so hip would work fine. Need to get down again before snakes completely take over
  20. Should be going at least. If we get abit more rain it would help considerably
  21. It wouldn't surprise me if I find some next week
  22. Go time ! Next weekend looks like when it'll be on! One more warm week and a little more rain and it's on for sure.
  23. Lol save for you then I guess
