The Boys and I had a real good week fishing the mid lake last week. Boated 20-30 fish a day. Most of the boys fish came on a drop shot 50 fow 25ft down on main lake points. I did real good on a 5/8oz football jig with a beaver trailer first thing in the morning. Caught quite a few nice browns. Put the boat in 30 fow and cast into around 15ft. Very slow retrieve. Top water bite was also good for about 1hr past sunup. My youngest boy caught his biggest bass to date. He wanted to mount it! Wanted to give every one on here a big Thanks for the advise and tips over the last 6 years. We do better every year we come back!

We were there last week. Real nice guy. As said had a limited supply but was working on getting things ordered. Hope things work out for him!

Most of the fish were caught on Jerk baits and the A-rig. Had to work them real slow. Caught a few nice ones on a DT-10 sexy shad.

We really enjoyed our trip to the Rock last week. Wish we could of stayed longer. The browns were just moving in when we left. I would of loved to follow the pro's around a couple of days! Fishing was tuff but we ended up boating around 15 to 20 fish a day.

The FLW College Tourney is tomorrow also. There are a few good stick in that tourney. As for the Elite i'm going to say Jigs.

Hi Guys. First post for me. I really enjoy your site. I have got a lot of helpful tips over the years. I live in Iowa and come down to the Rock in August with the family and really love the lake! A buddy and I are coming down late next week for our first Spring trip and I am really looking forward to it! I was wanting to get into some Smallmouth and was wondering what the best area of the lake holds the most Smallmouth. We are staying in Kimberling City.
