I hear ya... I'm a hugger... learned that hugging my kids especially Andrew (youngest).. He went through lots..Problems started in utero and lots of time in children's hospitals from Indiana to Iowa..He still goes but no longer in the childrens wing.... His Hugging translated in Hugging my friends... This is now off the table and is a weird dichotomy .... Not sure when this comes back...but for my kids there is gonna be a point where I say screw this... Im pretty close now... But then I think...Crap...Andrew is away from Mom but I am not so that Hug could be a bad thing

I Do Too.... and from what I have garnered, this thing hides, reinfects, and generally is a culling mechanism. A Culling Virus that dont care if you are healthy...With a Big enough Viral load......you are down for the count (Social Distance and Mask...= ....GOOd for the time being).....profalactic options are what I envision are the best defense (HCQ etc)... and what can you do personally.....Get yourself healthy.. Lose weight, Take vitamins that boost immune system and fight the ability of the virus to do a Rocky Balboa on good cells... You want your body to put up a Muhammad Ali Fight....Stay against the ring as long as you can and wear it down till you can beat it!!!!! You live on a different planet now!!!!... I just cant see YET...how we get back to yesterday!!!!!.... But I hold out hope and is why there are several turns left on the hose clamp!

Oh yeah... there are lots more turns .....but it's go time on the paranoid front ...Dont get me going on; if they dont ease up the lockdowns... and get folks able to sustain their families again...people get cranky about being hungry and stuff..... Might have to install some cams for the crops 90% (my estimate) are not able to sustain more than two weeks...what happens if the stimulus checks are gone and the CC companies go belly up and you cant charge your next Grub hub or walmart order? It wont take much to get to this point if stuff keeps heading in the trend its going......When folks (good folks) cant feed their families????? SGHTF!

I couldn't stand Boost at first...but i've gotten a taste for it (Strawberry and Choc.).... My Mom would have that every meal if given the opportunity...We watch her protein, salt and sugar intake so we limit that to 1 a day... She likes that before bed....Its a big ole dance between her Kidneys, heart, and liver. Stick Boost in the freezer for a 10-15 min and it gets like a shake

Brings back memories!.... Eat this with my Pop-Pop Eel fishing, or working in the Eel Trap/Weir or sitting on the tailgate of his Power Wagon watching baseball on at my elementary school ball field as a kid.

I hear ya..My mom loves a rooster bullet too. a fried egg in her Heart Healthy Butter (Smart Balance) she eats like a bird so it makes me feel good to see her enjoy her breakfast... Between an egg or her Smuckers PB&J uncrustables I can get her to eat that. If you are having trouble getting protein intake for your Mom, try Ensure or Boost or If you need real high protein try Premier.

No Pics but woke up to 22 deg today and 1.5 inches of snow...good thing only a few of the Onion sets (160 red - 120 ish yellow sweet , 130 garlic and 100+ sets of red and yellow taters) were still under the mulch/compost..Still worried about the next couple days.. getting dwn to 22 or there abouts each night... Should be ok..I hope.. Plan to plant seed this weekend, but may wait till is a but warmer on average

Hard boiled, over easy, fried over medium...dip a little buttered jellied rye in the yoke...Poached, Irish.... and I guess if you like to beat the heck out of em...scrambled...just better have taters, sausage, some peppers (IDC what heat they are) and some cheese... (get creative here if your gonna scramble) Ever had scrambled and Parmesan?..Asiago...etc.......OH and Corned Beef Hash is always...always welcome...
