Hey Dan, Let us know how you do. CoolHandFluke and I are going to Stockton we'll post a report. Are you going after walleye?

Hey Vic, I have a motor guide on my pontoon with a plate it snaps into, so it can be removed when not fishing. It seems to work well. I gate won't quite fit over the motor with it in the stow position. I wish it did it get heavy moving around. He mounted the bracket through the flooring. Hope that helps.

Nice fish!! Are you catching them in docks or brush? Which part of the Lake or in the creeks? Thanks for the post. Don’t see many crappie posts.

That's what stuck out to me also... I wish they found more crappie then they did.

Caught a few fishing yesterday with my buddy Coolhandfluke and our kids. We took a movie, sleeping bags, and snacks. The kids thought it was fun movie night on the boat. It was steady, but not on fire we fished for 3 hours. We ended up catching around 30 with 16 keepers most 11-12 inch were the keepers on minnows. Fish seemed to be suspended higher on the brush piles in 14 feet, but did catch some deeper. It was a good time and great weather for December. A lot warmer than tonight. We had a great time. Tight lines....

Yes sir. Not as quiet as some crappie trips, but some good memories. Who knows how many we could have caught had it actually been quiet.

Yes Dan that's the place. They have your favorite spoons and stuff people actually catch fish with in that place. They are always really helpful in what people are catching fish on. They mentioned that the shad hatch this year was really good on Stockton.

I didn't get a chance to go this weekend, but I was in Bud's bait shop yesterday and they said guy came in yesterday with a report he caught a limit every morning before noon. 3 straight days. They said they were catching them between 6-20 feet.
-
I'm thinking about heading out tonight or maybe morning. Just wondering what the reports are depth or any help would be appreciated. I'll report back. THANKS
-
Yeah Dan you may be right about colder weather crappie. We were at Stockton last year about a week before Christmas and caught two limits a couple times. The air temp was around freezing though. Maybe better fishing is on the horizon.
-
Gotcha. Thanks for the advice. I think this has been a good feed for everyone to learn a little bit about them.

What's the pattern on white bass in the fall and how long will the pattern last? I fish out of Joe Bald and the kids and I would love to find some for dinner!!!
-
Thanks for all the help. Buddy of mine and I trolled with only catching bass Saturday. We trolled mainly flicker shad and flicker minnows. No walleye this trip, but I'll keep giving it another go.
-
Thanks Bill, I'll check them out. I'm headed down this weekend I'll post a report.

Thanks Dan. I've learned a lot just watching your videos. Do you usually fish for them the same way you do on Stockton? Spoons and bottom bouncing? What are you looking for on your graph to find them or is is more depth related? I usually fish the flats at Stockton, but I wasn't sure if it's the same technique. Thanks for the help.
-
Thanks Bill. I'm familiar with bottom bouncing from Stockton. Is that the method that guys are using at the Rock or is trolling the best way to catch them. I usually fish flats in 16-18' of water this time of the year. Where is considered Main Lake on the lake? Thanks for the help.
-
Thanks RPS. Which part do you fish? Are there better parts of the lake to fish for walleye, white bass or crappie then others? I'm new to all of this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
