  1. All good Quillback. I'll reach out to them. Ben
  2. Do you know the owner/operators of these marina's? If so, send them to getanglerspy.com so I can begin a conversation. Thanks. Ben
  3. Hey guys, Sorry if this takes your attention from a fishing report, am I am absolutely pushing forward on my own, but I thought I'd let you know that I've come up with what I hope is a good way to expand my service that is currently on table rock lake, https://anglerspy.com, it shows water temp and clarity at each unit across the lake. If a marina, or bass club, or business, can 'sponsor' and unit for a few hundred bucks, I'll get their logo/link on the new data point. If you have other lakes other than TRL, get this link to whichever marina you want a unit at and I can begin conversation with them. If you fish LOZ, Stockton, Beaver, wherever, consider passing it along to marina owners on your lake, or, sponsor one yourself if you really want a data point. This is my way of being creative while keeping the service free of charge. See here: http://getanglerspy.com/ I'm still moving forward, but let me know if you have questions. Ben

  7. Will definitely take this into consideration. Good info.
  8. Mike, I am not sure if I've ever heard more sincere thoughts. I truly appreciate it. In case anyone was wondering, Mike is Angler Spy User numero uno, the first. He's provided excellent feedback. I am glad you are still using it. We're getting more creative at making sure things stay clean. To everyone else who suggested placement marinas, thanks a bunch. Looking forward to the next steps.
  9. fishinwrench, I couldn't have asked for a better answer. Appreciate it. I'll look into these areas. Thanks!
  10. Hi LOZ people, My name is Ben and I am starting up a service called Angler Spy that is currently only on Table Rock Lake. I place units in the water at various marinas that record and report water temperatures and images for water clarity/visibility. I have these units on Table Rock Lake currently, as this is where I live and fish. However, I am preparing for a push to place units on Lake of the Ozarks. What are popular locations where you'd like to see water conditions for? For example, on Table Rock, I have units that establish a perimeter of sorts, starting down at Cricket Creek, coming up to main lake by the dam, on up to Cape Fair, down to Kings River and finally over to Holiday Island. I'd like similar coverage for LOZ. These lakes definitely have different environments due to dam release, rainfall, etc. and I'd like to cover it accordingly. Let me know of any thoughts or suggestions, or if you know a marina that would like to host a unit in order to gain exposure and contribute to the network. Thanks, Ben
  11. No, not an add on, just something that seemed useful to the marina staff. I had it showing lake level in all the little pop open windows, is this something you find useful? I can add it back in there. Let me know. Also, we can pull data from Beaver Dam Tailwater gauges, since Holiday Island is so far up. Is this something you'll find useful, too?
  12. Interesting. I had heard of the DO issue in the James River arm. I've designed these newer units I'm working on so that I can send out dissolved oxygen sensors down the road, and they can be added to the existing units. Lots of stuff on my 'to do later' list. Those little DO sensors pack a big price tag lol.
  13. Hey guys, My website and access to the realtime temperatures readings (on the 15's of every hour) and twice-daily clarity images are now completely free of charge, and will remain that way indefinitely. You must register, but registration is free, just like OAF. I am taking my time perfecting the design of the actual unit, so that they can be built and configured in a manner that will allow me to easily ship them to a marina, and they can easily install it themselves...essentially 'standardizing' the units. Below are all the units reporting. CAPE FAIR unit has camera issue, but temperatures are accurate.
  14. Surely the absence of frequent down pours is helping...
  15. The clearest water yet since our December rain event looks to at Indian Point. Over the last week, it has really improved. Here is an image from about 15 minutes ago that I took from my unit.... I'd call it 7.5'....almost 8', of vertical visibility.
  16. Love this input. I've got conversations underway. Making sure we learn all we can from these active units before springing for a few more.
  17. Absolutely, Mike. Mornings are often times better lit. Light definitely plays a major role, but even in very poorly lit images, one can still determine the clarity, which is no different than the clarity shown by its 'brighter' counterpart. Meaning, I can see 4' on a dull, dim image in a stormy day, and can see the same 4' on a blue bird day. A nice crisp bright image is sure nice to look at, I'll say.
  18. I've chatted with the owners there, just a few roadblocks we're working around. Thanks for reminding me!
  19. Man, after posting this I was just reviewing it to make sure it was all set...and just thought "How dang cool"... I am very very busy with it lately and sometimes I don't step back often enough to enjoy the coolness. Anyways, hope everyone is staying cool these days and catching fish. It seems like it! Only Fishing Report I have is that I've caught Kentuckies fairly regularly down at Indian Point under the docks, suspended, on the 1/2 OZ Kastmaster Flutter spoon...when I have time. Take care everyone, Ben
  20. Here is a report I kicked out from my AnglerSpy units on TRL. They've been working pretty dang well. Getting it all situated, kinks worked out, before we wire up the next lake in the arsenal. For now, here is an easy to look at report from June 13th that I put together yesterday afternoon of all the sites around Table Rock. I call it a Quick Glance. Enjoy. Don't forget, you can always see for yourself at any time over at AnglerSpy.com!
  21. This Whopper Plopper thing is getting ridiculous, especially for a simple recreational figherman like me. Hey, I've got an idea...forget this Mega Whopper Plopper 5000 and sign up for Angler Spy for TRL!
  22. I've seen a bear in Branson North subdivision, In the heart of town. Big black bear, walking down the street, literally. I have also seen multiple bears out around the Bear Creek area, north of town, between 65 and 13 in the deep Ozarks.
  23. I've seen on the Stone Country fire facebook page and KOLR10 that they are now reporting a drowning near Indian Point. http://www.ozarksfirst.com/news/rescuers-in-recovery-mode-after-drowning-at-indian-point-on-table-rock-lake Stone country fire reported being called to bass boat circling 1000ft out from indian point marina with one overboard. Now, most recently, say they are in recovery mode, unable to locate a victim...horrible. Anyone here anything else?
  24. From the look of what I've seen on social media this is not good. Now reporting as a drowning. Divers were in the water last I have seen and Stone County fire is saying they are in 'recovery mode, unable to locate a victim'. Horrible news.
