  2. I caught a big one by the old tree in the cove by the fence that was in 20 someodd feet of really cold water.I should have used commas in that sentance but why for?Macroclimatic huh>>>>>>arent those the purple flowers that vine up the side of ole man Kochs garage?
  3. COOL! Now I can be assured of my spot on the ramp.BS is really a lousey place to fish anyway.Hardley any speed boats, jet skis or screaming scantily clad babes in the summer.I stumble across a few nice dinners though.Keep up the griping guys and fight for those fish in those high seas on TBR,,,,,,,,,,,heeeeheeeheeee

  7. And the Lord destroyed Soddom and Gamorrah because its human and natural. Please no response needed........
  8. I had something happen to be at country mart the other day, I was waiting in the car for my bride to get a gallon of milk, I was eating an apple and had backed into a spot so I could see the door as she exited , so I could pick her up.This guy pulls up to my drivers side window and asks me if I wanted to go to town with him.I said im already there................
  9. If I may ask a question on the fishing principle not the legality issue.Do these docks have sunken trees under them or are these fish just hanging under the dock structure? I find it very interesting when they seem to be in channels by now, are these docks over lake channels?I figure this is a stupid question, but Im bettin I can get an enlightened answer.
  10. Phil, maybe one of those sunny january days we could get together and try that.I hope to be still full time at work in January but you never know and I might have some free time .If anything I know Ill have 2 days a week.Do you still have the white swimmin minnows? I bet those would work great there , especially if the vegitation dies down in the winter low sun months.P.S. are those fish of any size? I did see some fair sized ones and BIG bluegills cruising the marina down there during low water conditions.
  11. The Lake of the Ozarks must not have near as much theft of items from docks. The only thing that made me wince was cleaning fish on a private docks decking.I know in my heart that it was cleaned up but I also know not all people are as conciences as the before mentioned fishermen.Id love to catch some crappie myself this time of year but alas too many other things going on in my life.Does anyone in here have a good report from the area lakes on crappie???Have a wonderful day...
  12. probably cause of being shorthanded during the holiday week. They also may be waiting to have dry dirt to work with instead of mud.Thats my opinion , it may be incorrect but it sure sounds good

  22. Thom, I agree money is spent unwisely and we are trying to have all theworld indebted to us.But, New orleans has been in the same location for i dare say close to 200 years and hurricanes have come and gone. And most if not all of the flooding came from failed levees., of exsisitng waters.I am not happy with the fac t now every time a storm hits the gulf we all have to pay higher gas prices cause we loose a million and a half barrels aday.Just a drop in the big picture. And who knows how many million dollars we as americans lost giving away to some that did not deserve it,(I didnt say who needed it).I pray death and destruction are to a minimum, but for petes sake.its under sea level. If they arent smart enough to fix it , let it flood.
  23. Trav all your bass are at the landing.I have personaly witnessed many 12 to 15 inch bass, large bluegill and a few crappie cruising the docks down there.Seems normal generation brought them to our attention again.
  24. MOstly just to try to see if my boat would run, it did kinda sorta ok.I also was interested in seeing if my new/used fishfinder would work. And low and behold it was foggier then you know what so I fished close in and caught the dickens out of fish. All my spots are still very deep so I just went cruising.I caught more good smallies then I ever have on one trip and I caught a 3 lb bass on the light pole at the k dock ramp.Crappie and whites where also in the mix.It is a bear to launch and the lake is massive now but I had a great time and got a really nice sunburn.Prolly go again in the fall.Hahahahaha.
  25. vote for Pedro
