  1. Beaver is a tough lake John. I actually learned to bass fish in bella vista lakes. Then I came into rogers and started fishing beaver... U can't imagine the shock I had when I realized I had no clue how to "really" fish lol.
  2. thats some tuff fishing J-doc. Well they'll be that much more rewarding when someone lands one. Well at least for me. I've really been struggling the last few weeks.
  3. Ok cool... Well feel free to say hello next time... I'll do the same. Then I can put a face with the name.
  4. Ok. That makes more sense. Ya I had a lot of trouble with that wind. What boat were u guys in. Was it the bass tracker? I was in the blue nitro.
  5. Thanks for post the video fins. I actually fished Monte Ne yesterday .... I got skunked though. Maybe I need to be more stealthy like u stated in the report. I did see a lot of birds working. I just couldn't buy a bite yesterday.
  6. I'm going to head out this weekend. Hopefully this coming cold front doesn't mess with the bite too much. I love tangling with big striper on light line/rods.
  7. Cool fins. Excited to see the videos. "Mayhem on the shore" !!! Lol.
  8. That is too cool. And from the shore none the less. Congrats..
  9. Fins!! Man ur on a roll. I haven't been able to find them big ones in at least a couple of weeks. Great job! Keep it up... About how much do those weigh?
  10. Wow fins, congrats. I went out all day Tuesday without a bite ?. Well I'm glad they're out there. I started getting the feeling that they were all gone lol. Congrats again Fins! Beautiful fish!!!!
  11. I also have the lake master chip but have not set up the off set yet.......So I'm not 100% on this, But I would think they'd use normal conservation pool 1,120 ft msl. So how ever many feet its down that's how many feet to off set. We're at 1,113.0 now. So set offset to -7 maybe. Hope this helps..
  12. Catfish bite was last week Wednesday though.
  13. Wow that's good info. Thanks fins! Also I can vouch for the cat fish report..... I was trolling flickers looking for whites, when a 25-30 pound flat head cat fish slammed one of the flickers. Heck of a fight.... Unfortunately that's the only thing I caught that day. Didn't get one WB.
  14. Lol. Nice video. Lmao
  15. If it gets to frustratig I'll chase WB though. Them dudes always hungry. And pretty tasty IMO.
  16. Hmm. Interesting bit of info.
  17. I'm sure u r learning a thing or two. I started fishin beaver 5 years ago and I've learned a ton in these few years. But honestly still struggle catching LMB year round. but hey that's half the fun right? Figuring them out!!
  18. Congrats J-doc. Love it when it happens like that. It's like a light switch goes off and everything comes together. I'm not a great bass fisherman either. But I do love the challenge of tryin to figure them out. Every once in a while I get lucky though. Glad u figured them out ?
  19. Welcome Kchap... I just started posting aslo. They really are a great group of guys on here. I've enjoyed reading the post
  20. Ya guys the weather was a lot nicer than now. It was in the 60s and no wind. Made for a great day on the water.
  21. Awesome fish Fins. I do love me some crappie. Last time I was up by point 12 the water still had lots of ice. Haven't been up that way since though.
  22. Went out at 2pm yesterday with lil expectation, since I haven't been out in a while, but did find a great spoon bite... Caught 7 stripers 4 of which were keepers, and several whites. All were caught in 25-30 feet of water in the monte ne area. Don't remember the water temp. 42 I think.
