  1. I meant China as a country. Not hatin on Chinese.
  2. Maybe the chinese need to take notice.
  3. Just watched a video with Doug Hannon showing the benefit of using it. Anyone here do this? I heard over the years fishing tourneys that its caustic to fish, but in the video, he states only in very large amounts. He recommends 1oz per 3 gallons, so 4 ounces per average livewell. I can see the benefit when the water warms, adding more oxygen, and in a very cheap way. Just curious.
  4. valid point. steve and steve cant reproduce
  5. jol. I will meet up with ya sometime and return it. Unless a whopper snatches it and runs away with it tomo during my tourney.
  6. Count me out wrench. Since were speaking openly, im anti-gay
  7. Look familiar to anyone? Found floating in the James. Just curious how it did for ya? Appears not to be a factory bait.
  8. Pretty much what ive found pre-fishing for our tourney out of Cape this Sat. Lots of fish in the 15" to 17" range.
  9. Just let me know when//where ya want to meet.
  10. Love Academy. Were there every week, and i mean every week. Go simple for the yak, and enjoy.
  11. Great. Been wanting to add one on the boat. You selling it gives me the reason to do it.
  12. I'll take it
  13. Green worm in the dam area.
  14. they run a bass tournament. Their not Conservation Agents. They, like any "business" are in this to make money, so acting as Conservation Agents in multiple states would most likely take away from that "business" aspect As far as boater etiquette goes, again their not there to teach you the laws of boating. That could be a law suit waiting to happen when you kill someone while fishing in their tourney and thru the court process you say you didnt feel like they provided a good example of how to turn at high speeds, or when you got arrested by the Water Patrol for cutting off a pleasure boater that then jumped in your boat. Its simple people, fish by the way they do things, or skip the lake that weekend.
  15. I visited with the family. As of yesterday they were thinking of selling dads Triton to help pay for his college, and keeping the Nitro.
  16. a fish that likes sushi?
  17. take D Hwy north from Hwy 32 on the east end of Bolivar. Take that 6 miles to Hwy PP. This will be a sharp right curve. PP goes straight off the curve. Take that 1 mile to Hwy RB which goes straight ahead, and PP goes west. Take that 3 miles to ramp.
  18. 19 year old fishing his first ever tourney
  19. Did it hurt the fishes mouth pushing the hook thru versus it hooking itself when eating the bait?
  20. From what i posted on the other OBBT thread, what i seen today at the weigh-in, it was a smoothe system. The guys i seen working were very polite, and professional. Great job guys. As far as multiple weigh-in sites, i read in this thread where that was answered. Would it be easier and more convient for mulitple locations? Yep. Would the staff, equipment, costs, etc. be greatly expanded? Yep. Would that effect the prize money by paying for those added expenses? Yep. I like the format, the OBBT gang as a whole, the way i seen it, was done in a professional way, with a nice setup. Could it be better? Possibly, but what in life couldnt. Im sure those that "choose" to fish any of these events wouldnt do so if they felt it wasnt up to par, so with as many entries as were posted, it looks like the guys and gals who fish it were there happily, trying to win what Brendan took home, a beautiful boat. As i was leaving, i told the announcer on the stage that the rigt guy won the boat. Very good kid, and for his first tourney, he will remember this for years. I was talking to his mom when his sister called. She didnt believe he won the boat. She will after he gets back to St. Louis with it. It was his parents anniversary this weekend, so a great weekend for their family overall.
  21. My better half and I went down for the last few hours weigh in's. Chatted with the 19 year old young man that won the boat and his parents for awhile. Great young man and family. The event appeared to be put on well. Congrats to Brendan again. Enjoy that new boat with your dad.
  22. A 6.57 this morning. Good fish.
