I have noticed that the last 1 1/2 years i have slowed down some what to my doing's and most of it my body telling me too and seems medical issues have come about also...but as they say life goes on....i'll be 63 in Dec...was heavy equipment and truck mechanic for years and when i was young i thought i was bullet proof..well the bullet proofing has worn off years ago...lol

  7. I figured it out after looking at it again with my new eye...you stuff the lure into the hot dog then you put the hooks on it that way the hot dog stays on better... Sorry im kind of bored since i cant do much of anything since last Thursday after my cataract surgery....lol..the other gets done next Thursday..
  8. I have an inflatable but it's not a mustang it's an Onyx Nice boat Vernon..enjoy it..
  9. Don't have no hooks on it ...what good is that ? im being sarcastic now...
  10. Don't ferget the can of cold pork and beans to go with them Vienna sausages ...lol
  11. Oh man just had a flash back to a lunch meat i use to eat all the time...olive loaf...mmmmm...and liverwurst and onion samwhich.. ...lol
  12. I'm holding out for the triple plopper... I use to love those Vienna sausages... I have caught bass on pieces of white cloth on a hook before...
  13. Im getting ready to redo some of my carpet in my Champion boat and seems that most people are using contact cement, problem with that is you dont have no work time..when you stick it it better be right the first time.....most all of the newer glues like henry's 6700 is water based and if it get wet for several hours the glue well become soft and let go but will dry backup and retain its adhesive..
  14. Twin rivers area is the worst for wake boats and skiers......SK to Big M is about 6-7 miles one way
  15. Which one you want to borrow M&M..i have a baitcaster and a spinner...bait caster rod i think is like 11 foot long with 60 pound mono on it and the spinner rod is like 9 foot long with about 40 pound mono on it...i have caught some 30 inch grouper on either one....LMAO
  16. Looks kind of gimmicky, but sometimes looks are deceiving.... I have 6 more weeks to think about it..lol....my eye's should be all healed by then...
  17. Way to go!! Good Job!
  18. Glad your ok!! Im only 62 and i wear either my inflatable or my regular PFD at all times....i dont have a boarding ladder either but im working on that as well.
  19. Very nice!!
  20. Nice fish!
  21. Great job!!
  22. Nice Quill!! School should be starting in the next couple of weeks maybe some of the week day boat traffic will slow down..
  23. Probably was...where was that cove at again?? Im thinking my 1989 Champion will probably be my last one...it may not be the purtest boat or the fastest as long as it floats im good...lol ..Getting my eyes fixed next month, then maybe do some night fishing...cataracts are growing fast...
  24. If i was to buy a new boat it would either be a BassCat or Charger Both of them just did a redesigned champion hull. I think i passed Quill last year as he was coming out a cove and i was coming in..i caught 10 back in that cove that day...lol...i was in an old grey champion with pink windshields and my boy was with me...lol
  25. Actually it's easier that way..then your not laying under it..you can stand up and work on it.
