I was in BPS yesterday in Springfield and just looked around and i bought one of there XPS lazer eye crankbaits for 4 bucks, it's some bigger than the WW and it looks to be about a about a 15' diver maybe even 20' big lipped and has a good rattle to it....i figured for 4 bucks what the heck...lol

I bought a WW original series brown scale crawdad at Walmart yesterday for 5 bucks...made in Indonesia....lol

My lowrance Mark 4HMDI was only 129.99 at BPS and it has GPS in it...I would like a little something bigger though like either a helix 7 or helix 5 for the console.

Im by no means into speed on the water i run anywhere from 30 to 50 mph usually somewhere in between...electronics lmao i may have 200 bucks in console unit and front sonar console unit is a lowrance mark 4 hdmi and front unit is a hummingbird piranha 155...lmao...im a low budget fisherman...lol

Bass Boat Central has quite a few champions for sale..but i think the site is still down..then facebook has a Champion boat owners group also couple on there for sale. The bigger champs handle rough water pretty well from i understand my little on doesnt do bad for what it is handles lite chop really well..my little champ will run 56 with 2 guys 24 gallons of fuel and rear live well full once i get my setup right she should run in the lower 60's.

I bought a 1989 176(17'6") dual console fish & ski Champion with a 2.0 litre 135 Merc on the back....i should say i rescued a Champion...Had to put a transom in it, which i did the pour in transom seacast...and lots of elbow grease as it sat outside for 2 years uncovered, it was oxidized bad and have fluffed and buffed many times....overall its a solid boat , but still needs carpet and seats and need to rebuild drain valves and over flow valve....would i buy another champ..yes i would...and there is a lot of nice Champions out there for sale. If you see a Gold colored Ford ranger 4x4 supercab pickup at the boat ramp with a champion trailer on it thats me.

Looks like a great day was had...time spent with son is priceless....

Nice Hammer..sounds like you had a good day...Love the Eagle shot. Caught a few up around shell knob bridge this afternoon....most fish where holding in 20 - 40 FOW...fished a couple of coves, none where keepers caught them on bandit 200 crawfish colored.

Im not disabled...lol and i dont have a wife...it's just me myself and my champion.....oh i'll probably still work, just not 40 hours a week...mechanic by trade and use to work on heavy equipment and what not, my body is whats telling me to slow down....now i just rebuild transmissions which is easy, for friend that has a shop....and snagged im not piling anything on. Little side note...my wife didnt live long enough to enjoy our retirement or hers for that matter.

Semi retired self employed or what ever you call it.......oh and i may not work at all next week..........no dog piling here...put it another way...everything i own is paid for...now it's time to enjoy life...

Heading to shell knob as soon as my partner gets here...havent decided which way to go towards campbell point or Big M...may just let my son drive...lol
