Well the fish told me that they was not hungry last night and that's why we only had 2 instead of 5 I just figured that they went to church with bob and that's why we could not find them!!!!!
Tony and I went down to Hawker and put in at 7 ish and the first cast I caught a 14 inch crappie. We thought game was on.Ended up with 9 keepers all over 12 inches and one white bass. Only had 3 shorts.
I was at the weigh in yesterday and most people caught there fish on jerkbaits. Some on tubes and grubs. The man winning is on fire with another limit yesterday. Some guy said he has already burned 250.00 worth of fuel the first 2 days and was up pasted roaring river.Talked to Jimmy Houston and he said there are quiet a few people up in the Kings.
I will be down in the Champion stickbaiting out the creek. Since I have had a cabin down there for 30 some years I know where to go. Plus a tube bite.Pics on saturday!
Biggeratts, don't forget the giant wind sox.It might keep you from getting beached 20 foot up on bank. And the reserve bilge a 5 gallon bucket for taking on 30 mile an hour whitecaps.Better take the 2 ounce crappie jigs and weights for the black-eyed peas.
