  1. Sweet I'm hoping for Saturday. You?
  2. Yes it is hard to get the skunk off a new hat. I am glad that you caught some, sounds like you are getting it figured out. I hope the store stock up on those pink blades.
  3. Thank you anyone have any experience with a product called Tuff Coat?
  4. I own a 2003 Tracker pro V WT, I have some serious carpet issues. The deck is wood, I really do not want to pull the deck up if I don't have to. The rod box lids and rear casting deck is the worst. I was thinking bed liner or some form of paint. I am not a big fan of carpet, I don't want to add a lot of weight, and I don't want to slip any ideas? I am all ears. Thanks
  5. I found some nice bluegill on stockton in 30 feet of water. I have caught them deep in the fall on bottom bouncers on tablerock when fishing for walleye. Good eating. Here is a pic of one of those that came from Stockton 30 feet deep.
  6. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for. http://www.waterwolfhd.com/en/
  7. Sounds like a great day, and a good dinner. Use the wind to your favor, drag a nightcrawler over those points, try to keep it in that 25 to 30 range, if you get green goo go deeper. Sometimes a slip sinker and Aberdeen hook with a worm, is the best thing for eyes. When they are holding close to the bottom you will rarely see them on in the sonar. Thanks for sharing
  8. wow I need to learn that !
  9. It is a lot like cold weather/clear water fishing.
  10. I noticed that too. I figured it was from the sudden influx of rain water, maybe it's a little different temp. It was around the 30 + mark and that is where the fish were in the day. Interesting...it could be an alkaline thing?
  11. I know that spoon hook up is hard to beat !
  12. 30 feet is a little deep but I had to get below the green gook. There are a ton of suspended fish in open water, and there is a lot of open water.
  13. I have a bunch of other colors but that one works well. I guess I need a pink hat..not. I was thinking of you, I had an empty boat seat all day.
  14. I thought I gave you a couple? Send me your address, I'll send you some.
  15. I use to bottom bounce all the time, as I began to learn new techniques, I just prefer some kind of jigging. To your point if a guy is going after walleye it good to know several different things. Then use the one that works. It was not boring...today
  16. Your funny, no old hat. I was worried my new hat would blow away. 15 mph gusting up to 20mph.
  17. I caught 15 walleye 5 keepers 10 shorts I don't know how many white bass, 3 crappie, 2 channel cat, and several bluegill all on the deadly pink bottom bouncer in and around 30 feet of water. I was by myself today. The keeper walleye measured from 16" to 18". Very therapeutic day. Here's a couple pics
  18. All great stuff for sure. I think everyone would agree. Habitat and having confidence in your location is paramount. After that just fish the way that works. I find it entertaining to unlock the code if possible. Hey Mike I added fluke to my bag of tricks, 1/4 oz jig in a fluke woks good too. Trolling for crappie sounds like a great idea.
  19. I am at work. I am going to have to stop looking at this forum at work. Nice catch you lucky dog !
  20. That's a great stringer nice you back in the action !!
  21. That's awesome ! You are the man.
  22. I get stories like that too, I think we all have. Here's my thoughts... they sometimes travel in groups, so when you find them they are many, or it's just a story. There are places that they tend to congregate regularly so who knows? Good luck
  23. He's a good guy. We should all get together some time. If we could all (crazy walleye fishing people) meet , fish different spots, come back together for lunch and share info, we could really take the lake apart. I bet we would all learn something. Kind of a collective. We probably fish most of the same spots anyway.
  24. Thank you, they didn't want the bouncer, I tried.
