  2. No that will never work
  3. Cool color on that 2nd fish.
  4. zarraspook posted my favorite map. !
  5. That is outstanding ! I would love to catch some from the bank. Really great that you were alone, I bet it was nice.
  6. Sorry, but if I can find my way around on this forum, anyone can. Many of us love this place like it is. I hope that you will join us in the love for the sport and the freely offered info here.
  7. Thank you friend, as you know, everything has to line up for me just to get on the water. There is quite a bit going on behind the scene.
  8. Sweet, you are on here ! Hope you post your videos, here. This is a great place with great folks !
  9. Thank you to all my OAF friends for all of the help, there was a lot of it, and I needed it. I would like to thank JR Oldham for putting me on this fish. I also got a ton of help from a couple guys at the boat ramp. Thank you !
  10. If I caught just one of those here, I would do a back flip out of the boat. What a great time. Maybe one of us will get a big one from Norfork AR. in the spring.
  11. They have been in there tor weeks. It is hard to catch them when they live in the bait shop. I think all those coves are filled with shad...no wonder I can't find fish.
  12. Nice looking fish, they can be finicky. Some day I am going to bring an underwater camera just to see how many pass the bait.
  13. Congratulations ! That is great !!
  14. How did you do today? Walleye?

  15. No LOTS of small bass. I am at a loss. I have had a bunch of help from OAF friends, but I seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing. I guess that's why they call it fishing. I am learning some things for sure.
  16. It wasn't to bad, but cold in the morning for sure. I did let a little water out of the boat, weird??
  17. Xi5 for me. After a good friend and I fished together, he had to have one. I love mine, it has been a game changer, but I don't fish tournaments. It will keep the bow of my boat inside what seems like about a 5 foot circle I think the Minnkota has more options as far as functions, but I have had my MG for a year and a half and still don't use all of it's options.
  18. Looks like you have some life long fishing partners. I live an hour from the lake too it gets old, but I live an hour from 3 lakes so I guess that's alright.Good job !
  19. I figured someone would be post some huge walleye pic's, I can't catch them but I can hope !
  20. Ok so I guess I need some fishing lessons, looks like a great...again !
  21. Very nice you can do it ! RPS is the best walleye hunter on the lake.
  22. I threw a fluke last year at post spawn walleye, I got bit a lot, but missed several hook ups, I need to rig the hook different. I thought it would be an alternative to the jerk bait. Some times I think the rattle is just to different for them. I know a spoon works well with no rattle, I have tried the count down too, it should be great in the back of those coves.
  23. Thank you, one thing is for sure..everyone here is very supportive, and encouraging. It's a great place to share knowledge. I have learned so much.
  24. I didn't get started until after 4pm fished until 10pm nothing. I threw a jerk bait about half the time, do'n something wrong. Great day you had ! I am going to change my handle to "StillLearn'n"
