  1. Any luck in this area lately?
  2. Got out this morning around 730 am. worked shoreline with spinnerbaits and med depth cranks. Lots of shad moving around but not a single strike. Has anyone else had success here recently? Seems like the last two years it's been down at this lake. Usually hit or miss for crappie and hybrids off the bridge using live shad and slip bobbers. I am ready to stop fishing here altogether. I think there's just too much pressure. I wish they'd open up the shore line on the other side of the bridge.
  3. wow, better tech support than given by some the manufacturers out there.. This forum rocks!
  4. There is a lot of good water to cover from cedar ridge, particularly going N. As for the bridge, I cannot say.
  5. I don't know about the locations you listed having not been there lately, but I can say for certain at the greenfield launch area, just across the CC bridge you will find Large Carp. In numbers.Usually just around sun up.
  6. I have had decent luck fishing the rocky shoreline going towards the cc bridge from the launch using med depth shad colored cranks and colorado spinners. usually white/gold or chartreuse and silver. Seems to be a good spot for the smallmouth bass there before sunset.
  7. It's been slow everywhere.. Water temperatures still in the low 80's in most lakes. I would say your best bet for cats is wherever you can find moving water. No luck in any of my local spots around springfield.
  8. Wow,Great forum here. Nice to see active posters.
  9. where would you recommend shore fishing at Stockton? I usually work the greenfield launch at 160/CC and go out on that long strip also. tried working the shoreline at cedar ridge also without finding much to cast to.
  10. McDaniel has HUGE bass and catfish. Fishing from shore is a challenge. As for fishing up river from the bridge that spans the water, well, let's just say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can do well there, it's taken me 3 seasons to figure out some patterns on the lake but it's worth your while. Hybrid stripers and crappie get big here as well.
