  1. Are they still running gates at Norfork?? I wonder what the total cfs of both dams are right now?
  2. What skin are you viewing? If you're not viewing a skin with this banner at the top - then you're not viewing the default skin. Some profiles have been changed for one reason or another it seems and you may not be getting the full benefits of viewing the forum. Reply to this and I'll change your settings from the back end.

  4. It is great when a community comes together... and oa is a community of anglers who care. John Wilson's site is another place where there's been good information.
  5. Should be good as soon as water levels drop and water clears a bit. Just have to see when that happens. Keep an eye on the water level charts.
  6. What's at the top of your screen- the Bill and Phil Show banner or google ads?
  7. I think I see what your problem is... I changed the skin you were using to the Pro or default skin. There is a skin in which the icons aren't working. I need to disable it but not sure if anyone else is using that skin what it would do to their view... Is there anyone not using the default or Pro Skin? Having trouble?
  8. Sorry- I had read your PM but haven't decided how to handle it. When you say formatting menu, do you mean the icons across the top of the text box? Do they show up? Do they just not work? What browser are you using? If it's firefox, it may be your browser. I've had trouble in the past with ff and I have to either update it or reboot.
  9. The little white boy sitting next to him is already a goner.

  11. Thanks for all the PMs, calls and emails offering prayers and even a hand. It means alot. I've gotten so many that I haven't had time to answer them all. We are fine this am... got another sinus thing last weekend and yesterday I really pushed it so I slept in this am so I feel better. Tomorrow Marsha, Caleb and I leave for Boston for 5 days. Caleb, my #3 kid, will attend Gordon Cromwell Seminary next fall so we're going out to check it all out.
  12. I think I mentioned Fall Creek's ramps collapsed earlier today. Guess they are afraid it will go sometime, esp if they raise the flow again. They still have all their boats in it. It'll go down till it gets caught someplace along the bluff hopefully. It may get stuck across from Short Creek in that corner.
  13. We were adding one more cable. Yes they are fishing off the wall and most of them caught their limit- right off the road!!
  14. Thanks Terry, wish I had time to go to see it.
  15. COE canceled the addition for now.
  16. 4 feet below the dam, about 2 feet here.
  17. ... just went by. Well an hour ago. We pushed it up against the bank just above Monkey Island and got it stuck but with more water coming, it may not be for long.
  18. 8 pm they're raising our level again- they can't keep up with the water coming in. Another 10,000 cfs at 8 pm. Will be 55,000 They opened the flood gates at Beaver Dam today as far as it will go... 7 feet.
  19. The water is at the top of our retainer wall across the front below the pavilion so it's about 3.5 feet over the road. The current is very fast and putting alot of pressure on the dock but it's doing fine. We places 6 extra cables before the water came up and it must be helping. There's alot of docks that are twisted, falling is or broken away from the bank. Dad's dock broke away last night at the cat walk but the cables swung it to the bank and we cabled it further. People are actually fishing off the wall and catch a few rainbows. One guy is fishing down the old boat ramp. We've had alot of people cancel but some have not.
  20. The Missouri Water Patrol is advising that no one boats on at least the upper lake while this much water is being released. I talked to a patrolman this afternoon and he said they are advising but cannot tell someone not to boat and/or fish. We saw several boaters on the lake while working downtown today but very few. This water is expected to continue till Wednesday next week.
  21. There's about 30 houses on the upper lake that have water in them. Most of the homes are evaculated and the power has been shut off. It was reported that a boat was pulling up to houses across from Fall Creek and a person or persons were trying to get in. The Water Patrol was called and they were caught. Just be aware of strangers in these neighborhoods, especially at night.
  22. Our internet was down yesterday till this morning for some reason. Scotty's Dock broke lose this morning and drifted down about 500 yards before coming to a stop about 75 yards from Bus 65 bridge. Cables and weights kept it from crashing into the bridge. We worked thru the am to move what boats we could from the dock while dock and city workers secured additional anchors and cables to keep the big dock in place. Lemar lost a few rental boats and a couple of privates boats were damaged but the dock and most of the boats are ok. The dock will have to ride out the high water before anything is done. Fall Creek's Dock has supposedly broken away but it still in place by it's cables. The main walkway and stiff arms have buckled, reported by the Water Patrol. We're keep an eye on this one... it's upstream from our dock and our dock doesn't need any more pressure, that's for sure.
  23. More info and pics on this forum http://www.1branson.com/forum/t34356.html
  24. Radio is reporting Table Rock is adding another 13,000 cfs bringing the amount to 43,000 cfs in the next hour. Going from 20k to 30k added about 2.5 feet here so we may get another 3 feet or so. Bill said someone told him that Powersite it now underwater. There's no difference in water level between Taneycomo and upper Bull Shoals.
