I sold and fixed hundreds of bikes. Best job ever is selling or fixing a bike for a little kid. They look at you like Santa.

Last week I saw a guy chumming his spiot with a 50 pound bag of corn while I was out riding my bike. is it wrong to poach his Spot or even cut him off before he gets there and take it? I didn’t but dang he did the work and I could walk right in. Public lake btw.

Around here they do Friday night preview sale. The girls hit those and get up at 6 on Saturday to be first. Word from them is estate sales are best. The kids selling their recently passed parents stuff and just want it gone.

I had a reef shark swim between me and the beach at dusk in the Bahamas. I'll never get that deep under low light again... About soiled myself.

My girls always see them at garage sales. Bikes and all kinds of exercise equipment. Never buy exercise stuff new. I got a treadmill for free, just had to pick it up. I bought a Total Gym for $50 and it was brand new. The lady said her husband used it once. Bought all of my dumb bells and bench super cheap too.

Summer I wear sandals, quick dry shorts and shirts and boxer brief breathable. Winter.... Depends on how cold and wet but always wind proof fleece. Only ice and snow stop me. Sometimes... Always a helmet.

Yep good advice there. I always cracked up at the bike shop when somebody would hobble in and say "I wrecked my bike". Not kidding I would've never guessed by your scratched up face, hands and knees.. Bike wrecks are nasty... My buddies van was parked in the street in front of the shop and it was raining. I watched this guy come down the street on his bike I said your van is in trouble. He said why. About that time the guy hits the brakes and started sliding and broad sides the van. He plunged forward and face planted in the side of the van knocked himself out. I could not stop laughing...😂

I can't run and even walking far enough for a workout hurts my legs. Used to be ok but at 59 my joints don't like it that much.

I took Organic 1, Physics 1 and Calc 1 in the same semester. First day of organic the kid next to me says. "How many time is this for you?" 😂 That class keeps more people out of being a doctor than anything....

I was real lucky just like my daughter. Breezed right through it. My wife however struggled.

I stand on the peddles all the time. Especially uphill. But my bike has more rake in the front fork than a typical mountain bike.

Gotta work up to it Marty. My motto is do no harm. When I started I couldn’t make it a few miles. I started riding seriously when I watched my parents decline physically and finally pass away. I noticed the first thing to go was their legs. Once that happens you can’t do anything.
