  10. Cheryl and I took a walk down by there last night. The support "springs" look like they are in a different position than in the pic's here. Does anyone know why? Just curious because the way they are now, it looks like it would not matter how much pressure is in the bladder, the springs would hold the sections in the same position. COOL looking set-up thouogh! Bill
  11. Excellent! Looking forward to the weekend for sure!

  16. Mine would be an olive green thread, gold or copper bead head and gold or copper wire ribbing. The next in line is the Primrose & Pearl.
  17. We were back down this past weekend doing some stuff at the house. We noticed the lake level was down so we did a quick run to Empire Park .....sure enought they were replacing the boards WOOHOO!!!!!!! Maybe back to normal sooner rather than later!! Blessing All!! Bill
  18. Greetings!!! Yes, what town did you grow up in....I'm from Fort Scott. Bill
  19. Nope...the boards were still gone this past weekend so the level all over Taney is still lower than you remember. Did a bit of dock fishing at Empire but not for very long. The bite was slow on powerbait but they fought strong. Saw a lot of boats out at the cable and a fair number of folks out on pontoon's....so something must've been biting out deeper.
  20. Very nice video work! The audio is pretty good as well. I really liked the "over-the-shoulder" views as well. Gives a pretty good perspective from your point of view AND seeing the take is a SUPER help. Too many others do not do that. GOOD STUFF!!! Thank you! Bill
  21. Hi Phil, Just in a ball-park....how much is advertising? Bill
  22. I started out under an indicator and did so-so. Switched to bouncing and did better. Most folks we saw were bottom jigging as well.
  23. Hi Everyone, Been a LONG time since I got to fish Taney...BUT got out yesterday morning in one of Phils' boats with a good friend of mine. We caught nice average sized bows all morning long on white jigs, purple jigs, scud colored jigs and of course power bait eggs. All had LOTS of fight and great color. Our original plan was to motor over as much of the lake as we could on a half day rental, but we were having so much fun drifting from the mouth of Fall creek to just up from Phil's place we never made it anywhere else. Thank you Curtis for the heads-up on where to look for the "new" hazards in the water!!!! A VERY nice day indeed!!!! Bill
  24. That's nice news to hear Phil. Will heading down this weekend to take care of some stuff at the house. Will stop by on Saturday or Sunday to see if you have any boats left for a half day rental. Blessings! Bill
  25. My wife and I were down there this past weekend. There were pleanty of folks still fishing from the "road-side" at Powersite and from what we could see...they we catching LOTS of fish. We happen to see a couple of guys as they were loading up to leave and their stringers were loaded...but too far away to see what all they had. Bill
