I think this cold rainy weather coming in is totally going to change the bite. There won't be any sight fishing. It could get real dirty come Saturday morning. But please load up workman with release fish. I'll be in there next week. To get them.

the only good thing about the lake being so crowded in the summer is there are no tournaments on the weekends. I went to meet some of my old Kentucky fishermen a couple of weeks ago at PB2 for the BASS central divisional championship. To their (BASS) credit they had 2 release pontoons. Fish biologists there I asked about the release spots. I was told they were release in different spots all over the lake for that whole week. But I do feel that the bigger tournaments meaning Bass and Flw need to go to catch and immediate release. They could take the $100,000 that one of those pontoons cost and invest in calibrated scales for each boat.

I don't care it all washes off. But the beer has to be cold.

I don't like it because it snags to many fish. It's like using a machine gun to deer hunt. Yes it does catch fish. I will probably try one in the future. I'm sure it's a great bait. But so are live shiners. Let's use them.

Well it doesn't seem to bother the fish. Most tournaments I've seen are not won in the glaize but either around the gravois or within 4 miles of it.

I wouldn't be to much trouble for fish and wildlife to have a release boat and if you have a tournament with over 30 boats you must use it and scatter these fish out like BASS does.

Went down this morning to trouble shoot my starter. Found a loose ground wire on starter and found out my battery is shot. Installing new battery next weekend. Hopefully that will fix everything.
