I agree. If we learn nothing else from the Lake of the Ozarks, we need to limit the type and size of boats using Table Rock. We must assume over time that the number of boats will increase as people seek a great lake near great entertainment. In the few years I have lived down here, the increase in wake boats and size of boats has resulted in waves that are damaging our dock, lifts and boats. Also, try trolling or still fishing around these craft! I also cannot understand why wake buoys should be removed. They are one of the few benign ways of reminding inconsiderate boaters to slow down as they enter busy coves (for both safety and to prevent property damage). If anything, I would like to see the Water Patrol enforce no wake areas routinely. I hope a lot of people show up at the meetings next week (Chateau on July 31 @ 4-7 pm and others) and make their voices heard.
