  1. Springfield Contractors Association is hosting it's 4th Annual Bass Bash fishing tournament on Friday, May 3rd at Port of Kimberling Marina. This is open to the public and proceeds go towards the following: National Youth Fishing Association (NYFA), Fish-4-Tales, MSU Construction Club, SCA Scholarship Endowment Fund, and Generation Next General Fund. Entry fee is $100 per boat with 80% payout and winner receives free entry into Lake of the Ozarks Fall Big Bass Bash. There are also raffle donation items from T-H Marine and Lew's during weigh-in and lunch. Free goodie bag, tshirt, and BBQ lunch afterwards. This tournament is managed by J.P. Sell of Lew's/NYFA/Fish-4-Tales and there are currently 62 boats registered. Last year's event had 75 boats participate and is a sanctioned event for Skeeter Boats Real Money Rewards and Nitro/Tacker/Mako Bass Pro Tournament Rewards. 2. For any Skeeter boat owners - it looks like they are in the process of adding this tournament to their rewards program as we speak. Will post an update with information once confirmed but should have it all squared away soon. This will be in addition to Bass Pro's Nitro, Tracker, Mako Rewards Program the tournament is already a part of.
  3. I think there's some NYFA people fishing our tournament Friday as well. JP Sell is running our tournament and told me that last week. The rain down there on Thursday night could make for a good day of fishing on Friday morning.
  4. There is a free entry giveaway on Facebook for anyone who shares the post and leaves a comment. Would be a good opportunity to pre-fish for the AIA tournament the following day. Weather looks to be good as well. The link for the Facebook post is https://www.facebook.com/GenerationNextSCA/posts/989364267886068

  6. UPDATE: This tournament has been added to the Bass Pro Tournament Rewards website for those who use their Nitro, Tracker, Mako rewards program. https://www.tournament-rewards.com/ and go to the Tournaments section. It will be listed under SCA Generation Next Bass Bash.
  7. Projected goal for number of boats is 100+ this year.
  8. To clarify, the goal is to have 100+ boats in the tournament this year.
  9. Last year's was on April 28th, the day before the big storms and the lake flooded bad. It rained that day and spooked some off. I think there ended up being around 70-75 boats last year. It has been held at Aunt's creek the past two years and last year the place was pretty full and kind of congested. They're expecting quite a lot more people this year, which is why the tournament was moved from Aunt's Creek to Port of Kimberling.
  10. Also doing two big bass payouts and best trash fish (for fun) payout.
