the cable on mine was fine. It just pulled out of the metal stud thing on the end. I didnt have a small enough allen wrench to tighten it back, so we had to head home. I will have a spare as well as a set of small allen wrenches on the boat from now on.

The metal knob with Allen screws must not have been tightened down enough. I ordered a g force to replace the factory cable.

Was it muddy up there? I fished Baxter to Campbell area and it was pretty muddy heading upriver. We turned around and fished back other direction without any luck. Broke pull up cable on new ultrex to call it a day.

I have a loomis e6 7 ft medium. I am assuming it would work great but wanted to get feedback on anyone fishing it. Also looking for another spinning rod in max budget of $200 for drop shot. What rod are you guys using for drop shot?

Have an group of guys going up there Friday to do some bass fishing. Mostly at night I would guess. Anyone have any info for this area? I watched a couple reports and they recommend white river. Just curious if anyone has been up the Kings after all this rain? Mudline location? Lure recommendations appreciated. I plan to start on topwater and jigs mostly.

My buddies fished last weekend out of 125 marina. Said it was decent and most of the fish they caught were on topwater or jigs. Lots of 3 lb smallie pics sent to me since I didnt make the trip. Anyone night fish the bull?

Can you tell the hooks to put on a Redfin? Is it #4 feathered in rear? #3 up front? What size snap rings?
