I havent hit Beaver in a month. Hoping the debris cleared up as it was terrible the last time I was on it.

We stayed in north Clifty. Both north and big clifty were clear but the debris was really bad in the morning and evenings for last two days. I guess the boat wakes during the day push it to the bank.

Yeah that’s a prime area for crappie. I’ve been up there a lot for crappie but I need to fish it more for bass.

Went today. Chocolate milk up to the Cut at horseshoe 3 fish with a lot of short strikes. 63 degree water at the cut.

Fishing and the weather was tough for our trip. Lots of water coming into the lake after the rains. Winners at a local club tn out of Lead Hill had right at 20 lbs, so they are definitely biting. My group of guys just didnt get on them like we have in the past few years for our annual April Bull trip.

Headed up Thursday for our annual Bull Shoals bass trip. Looks like we should try for some crappie too. Are the fish back in the coves yet or still staging. Planning on trying Jerkbait swimbait and wiggle wart. Any recent bass fishing reports?

I forget the strategy people recommend when they are running water through the lake. Fish main lake because shad pulled out of coves? Fish relate more to bottom or suspend? I know there are some thoughts around this but I can’t remember or find any info. Any insight is much appreciated. PM me if you’re not interested in putting it out to everyone right now. I posted here bc this forum gets most activity. I’m actually fishing bull shoals next weekend and it looks like the core is running a lot of water through it right now

Caught fish scrubbing a swimbait on the bottom in 20ft of water. Largest were A 3.5 smallie and 3 lb black. Several fat Kentucky’s on the Ned. secondary points about half way back in cove.

Found their results. 19.08 bag won it with big bass 6.15

Had almost 12lbs today. Needed a kicker fish to get in the $. they were eating a Jerkbait. Shad in backs of wind blown pockets. We caught 12 keepers total but they were all 2-2.25 lbers.

What baits do you guys recommend. I’m really interested in what jig and trailer combo, color and weight size. Are you using 3/4 or less? I tried an old monster grape with 5/8 and 5/0 hook. That seemed to work ok but a green pumpkin speed craw on 5/8 magnum head worked better for me.

Was there a recent tornado in Big Clifty? Has anyone seen the overturned dock and the carnage on the bank?

Put in at PC today and it was terrible . Junk in water everywhere. Sure didn’t stop a lot people as there were lots of boats out today . Caught one on senior and one on jerkbait.

Two of my buddies got their limit yesterday of some really big crappie.

Seeing lots of pics of crappie for dinner. Some even lucky enough to include morels.

I agree its tough to get anyone to talk unless you go to the table rock forum. Bull Shoals and Beaver reports are few and far between.
