Agree with that being a beautiful part of lake. I went out a few times end of last week. Once out of lost bridge and once out of prairie Creek. similar experience, one here one there. I found quite a few more fish mid lake, but the walleye are still elusive. The best part was my 91 yo father was fishing with me. He can't cast so kept boat off main lake points so he could fish vertical. Got him on some k's mid lake in small pods and he was able to get several that way. I tried to get him an early striper but not a lot of top water as well. I did get one on but shook it after about 15 seconds.

I didn't mind the ads, but then on my chrome mobile, they kind of took over the page with full screen ads embedded throughout. I switched to Firefox Mobile and enabled AdBlock add-in and that took care of issue for me.

Good day right there! I haven't been out much due to weather and golf. Probably tomorrow. Glad to hear striper getting more active. I've mostly seen solos, not big schools. Main lake or up major creek arms?

I haven't been out in a week but last time I was out, a "get some sun" trip for my wife, I could only get bit on the swimbait primarily with little love for the Ned. Note that this trip was a noon to 3 trip. Got about 15 smallmouth. Nothing photo worthy. Planning on getting out there early Monday or Tuesday.

Sounds similar to my Beaver experience today. Didn't get much top water though. I was hoping wind would pick up but it never did. Congrats on the good day

Got out early and was hoping to see some topwater striper activity. There were plenty of boats looking for striper, but no service action to be found, at least in the area I was at. Turned my attention to smallmouth though the morning started very slow. Did get a couple top water smallmouth near docks. Nothing big. Moved around a bit and I would get one here one there, on a Ned. I try to rock crawler for a bit but no bites. I put on a 4-in Kietech and they seem to like that better, but only if I would work it near the bottom and pop it so it had a lot of rise and fall. They only wanted it on the drop. Ended up with about 15 smallies, most were shorter. A couple of keeps. Also got a bonus walleye in the trees, 24.5 in, 4.4 lb. Wt around 67+.

I'll be out early tomorrow. Hopefully between rain events.

I went out for a bit yesterday morning but specifically targeting mid lake walleye. I didn't find them LOL and they have not set up on summer pattern that I could find. I agree with you that the water had a lot of small debris in it that would get caught up in your line often. Also a number of larger floaters that you had to be careful not to hit with your boat, but not too bad. I was able to get some bass anytime I would go fish a shoreline, but I was stubborn on the walleye. Maybe a few more weeks before they get situated post-spawn.

Good trip. I thought about going but thought I'd let the lake settle down for a day after the rain. Am thinking going tomorrow to see if walleye are cooperating. Haven't targeted them yet.

Got out about 7 am. Cold wind and I underdressed with shorts so had to dig out the rain pants. North wind all morning. Fished main lake points and some secondary pts back in large coves. Most of the larger fish came main lake and smaller from coves. Multi-species day today with sm, lm, k's, catfish and walleye. Tried swim bait, bomber crank but they only wanted Mr Ned. Many keepers this time, only a few shorts. 13 total May be time to specifically target walleye soon. Off water at 10:30 as I needed hot coffee.

Fun fishing right there and a great day to get out. Sadly, I've been tied up with doctors and couldn't get out lately. Next week I'll be back in the game!

Went out with my wife, just for a few hours to watch eclipse from the boat. On water about 12:30 and off about 3. Didn't travel too far from ramp, maybe a mile or so. Eclipse was nice. I saw totality in 2017. That is much better but lake wind did calm I thought and temp dropped maybe 10 deg or so during. As for fish, I didn't think the eclipse changed any behavior but in the 2.5 hours or so caught 12 smallmouth, all less than 15 in until the end. Told my wife 5 more casts and got another big smallmouth in about 17 ft water. 20 in, 3.7 lb. Wt was 55-56 towards back of windy coves.

I had both embedded and pop ups using chrome. Switch to Firefox browser and using the adblocker ad-in got rid of both. Not ideal but chrome's built in ad blocks not effective.
-
I added Firefox to phone, and added the ad blocker ad in. That seems to do the trick and no ads so far. I'll just use Firefox for OA I guess.
-
Yes, Google ads or whoever is good at what they do! I'd even be open to a no ad, subscription model myself.
-
I get that, and have no issues with ads, like it was a month or two ago. Just seemed like something changed recently and they make the pages more a pain to navigate.
-
Is it just me? Using Android mostly. Lots of Ads popping up between main forum Page, have to x out of ad to see post? I use Android Mobile, have all privacy settings and pop ups blocked. Seemed like it started about 1.5 months or so. Any suggestions?

Kim City - April 6 - Perhaps a 1K fish for the Big Bass tourney
AR Huzgr replied to Dock-in-it's topic in Table Rock Lake
Big'un! That definitely would have scored some money in the big bass tourney! 6.57 is tourney leader as of this moment. -
That looks about same size. Was a little challenge getting into net, every time I'd put net in water, it would make a run. Got it up Indian a ways. Quite a few boats out today it seemed. Your other catch looks like a hellbender? Never seen one of those
-
Drum! Lol. 15 lb drum on a Ned rig. First thought it was a log, then thinking catfish. Surprised I got it in the net as was in some trees. As for bass, got 14, mix of brown and spots. Only 1 keep among them though. Did lose a nice brown near boat. All came in secondary points, less than 15 ft. Wt 53

Good fishing right there! Quality and quantity. I wimped out this morning.

With the low water, I can see where you could walk a lot of areas
-
I didn't go all the way back this time. Maybe halfway

Got out early, first light. Beautiful day today, mostly calm throughout morning. Tried a few new areas. No love for Ned early. Got some on a swimbait, near banks. Moved around a bit trying different areas. Saw a school of bait fish scatter near shore. Threw the trusty bomber 200 past and got a big fat smallie. Best one of the year so far. Went up Indian and got a few more in the trees thanks to Ned. 8 total for morning, all brown except one spot. Water temp 51-53 range.

Still a good day, even with lower numbers. How is water clarity/debris?
