The first stocking of rainbow trout for the 2022/2023 KDWP trout season (November 1 through April 15th) occurred at the Trout Pit on Unit #30 of the Mined Land Wildlife Area on the evening of October 26, 2022. Approximately 800 pounds (1,200 rainbow trout) of rainbow trout were stocked to provide anglers with a unique opportunity to catch these fish.

Has anybody been hitting the pits for crappie? I've been a few times and haven't done any good. Wondering if it's slow or if I just stink at fishing lol
