Hey all just picked up a 2001 J&S river boat. Was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Seems like a pretty solid boat.

Im looking at new if that matters

Anyone had any dealings with the E-tec series? Was looking at getting one in 9.9 to go on my river boat. Didnt know if they were any good or should look to something else.

Thank yall for your replys. Im just undecided on which boat would best suit my needs. Ive got an old green rocket jon but wanted something a little more stable when I want to go to the lake. I haven't done much fishing on the white. I mainly stick to crooked creek and the Buffalo River and occasional lake trip and hunt up on the lake. Id like to start fishing the lake more and maybe the white. My green rocket is a 36in with a 9.8 its doable on the white and lake but not very fun. Also been looking at a Tracker grizzly 1654 sportsman.

Could someone tell me what the pros and cons are of a shawnee 1648? On the lake and rivers or just in general.

forgot to mention was thinking of the Double X with a 40hp prop and an elec. jack plate.

My name is Zach and I have been born and raised here my whole life. Mostly stuck the ole Buffalo and Crooked Creek. Never knew about this forum until the other day i was looking for some information on Double X jon boats. Looking at a 2150 or 2160. Though someone around here might have some input on here regarding them. Will be taking it on the Buffalo, White, and on the lake. I dont know if its been asked around here before but wanted some feedback on the Double X on the lake?
