They may know exactly where it is coming from, but I don't have any idea. I am over 100 miles from the area but, I do have a good friend who lives on the Spring and I like to go down there and fish with him so, I am interested in seeing the problem corrected. I would ten times rather see the real problem addressed than see them fix 20 phantom problems, spend millions of tax payer dollars doing so and never get the real problem addressed. Kinda hard to fix something if it isn't known what is broke.

Cool. I am glad things have been changed in that respect. Story is true and they were discharging firearms on their own property, a field of Milo, their guns were confiscated and they were arrested.

Yeah but I also fish for Flathead. To a Flathead a SMB is a nice tasty Scoobie Snack.

You got that right Terry. The people who came up with that idea have either been drinking or smoking some really good chit. Either that or they are just plain old everyday stupid and as everyone knows 'you cant fix stupid'.

Ahhh yes the crank telephone. We had one that sat on a desk and was hooked to a brown paper dry cell battery that sat underneath. Receiver was cast iron and weighed a ton. Party line of course. When someone called everyone on the party line knew cause everyones phone rang. Our ring was 2 long rings followed by two short rings.

Yep. We were right up town. We had a little black and white TV. We lived in a 2 bedroom house. MOM and Dad had one room, my three sisters had the other. My brother and I slept on a hideaway bed in the living room. Now days my parents would be accused of abuse or something because us kids didn't all have our own private bedrooms and bathrooms.

When I was a kid I used to watch Mutual of Omaha and Disney and Hew Haw. That was when I was a kid. Nowadays I would rather go fishing than watch TV. Of course GKids have a say in my rathers.

If our parks are going to have dangerous wildlife in them then the gun laws need to be changed so people can protect their selves. I guess I am getting old. I keep forgetting why we need to re-introduce/introduce potentially dangerous wildlife such as bears, cougars, wolves and hogs?

Depends on what all you want to do and what you want to fish for. If it is just camping and you all want to fish for trout then RR or BS are good. You mentioned liking to keep fish so I would also suggest Stockton. There are some nice camping areas up there and you should be able to catch a lot of fish to keep. If you want to fly fish there are a lot of areas up there that you can wade.
