  1. Finally found a nice used Ranger to put in my garage, but have to make room for it. Guess I have to give up the one Ive got (wish I had the room for both). I have a 17' 1993 Bass Tracker for sale. Has a 60 hp Evinrude motor, trolling motor, rod storage, livewell, single console, two batteries, two full size fishing chairs with posts and one butt seat for the front, placements for chairs front/back/and added one in the middle, full cover. Carpet little wear in the back, front is new as of last year, and I have enough to finish the rest. Two props, one alum. and one stainless. Prop wrench. Wonderful boat, has taken care of my family and friends for 4 years now and could not have asked anything more from it. It stayed in my garage for 8 months a year, October through January, it was covered outside. I will supply pics as soon as I get a chance. I am asking $4000. Pm with any questions. Thanks.
  2. Im with ya, I try to support the local tackle houses but most large purchases go to basspro, and a few to cabelas.
  3. Colts 42 Saints 35....
  4. Sorry, meant its on my girlfiends birthday... pleeaaassseee...
  5. dwi.... what is the trade in deal? havent heard of it.
  6. Great, tomorrow dont look so good....thanks Bill for the report. Always helpfull.
  7. going tomorrow probably. I'll send any new findings I get.
  8. A friend but me on a website that has copies of Lucky Craft sticks. Worked one last week and was as happy with it as any lucky craft Ive thrown. The come without hooks and clevis's, but still a good deal compared to the other. Suspend pretty well, had to add one stick of lead to the rear hook and it was perfect. I have 10 on the way, will supply pics when I recieve them. Give them a look. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/crankbait-bodies/341521.aspx
  9. All sound great! techno, im with u on the upgrading rods. the sensitivity has really helped in the last year. rps, I saw one that I am curious on. Black straight worm? when would that hit the line-up? And the use of a guide, I have went with Bill Beck twice, and have learned more in those hours than years by myself.
  10. We were letting the bait set for up to 20 seconds, when the wind and boat would allow. some were in 4 foot, some 10. The craws were just the standard greenish brown for the area, course coming out of the gullet of the fish might have changed them some, idk.
  11. Toke a trip out of Mill Creek today. Just a last minute deal. Cold and windy but fish decided to bite around 2. caught 9 lm. Biggest was around 4.5. couple 3's. All came on a stick. most were real shallow. Toke two small keepers home for the grease (let all the bigs go). I was very suprised to find that they were full of tiny 1" crawdads. One had at least a dozen already in its stomach. All in all, good day for the temp.
  12. Thanks Bobby. I thought that was the case, i just wanted to make sure. I have use that ramp at ashers, and yes it gets very busy during the run. Last year, toke my son and put in before daylight. Caught our limit within few hundered feet just below the ramp, but within the 2 hours it toke us, the parking was so bad that I had no way to get my truck out. We ended up waiting 4 hours for one of the two trucks to show back up so that I could get out. They got an ear full and they had only caught 3 in that time. serves them right i guess.
  13. Dang, might be busy that weekend, otherwise im there. Lilley, if u get a pod cast, will it be only during or will it be recorded to listen to at anytime afterwards????
  14. well so far some think they are private and some dont. maybe I should call the corp to find out.
  15. I have a question for all that might have the answer. My trustly boat is small in size compared to most everyone on here. I am running a 16' bass tracker that does a wonderful job for its size. I trailer it all around the lake to get as close to the water I am planning to fish as possible. My question is about these ramps that are in sub-divisions. Are they private ramps or open to the public? I have heard both that they are or are not. I use a couple on a limited basis, without any problems. Just would like to know for a fact that I am not in the wrong doing it. Thanks....
  16. Awesome pics...drool drool.
  17. Thats awesome. If (and probably when) I decide to get the system, I think it might be worth the money for a trip with ya to learn more about it. Wish I could afford it right now, but it will have to wait.
  18. Awesome Pics. I have been drooling over them since I got the BP cat. I have a question, how would it work for finding specific small pieces of structure on mostly barron banks. I would love to have one for just such a use.
  19. Wow, such a beautiful day. Hope some of ya got to go out. Love to hear the reports. I'm doing my best to get to go tomorrow. Predicted rain will be fun, hope the stick works good in the rain. Can someone remind me, shiny on sunny days right? and dull on cloudy?. Thanks.
  20. Sam, anouther productive way to troll for them is to use a poor-mans planer. I have done it since i was back in highschool. Take a large crankbait and take of the rear hook and run 2 to 4 feet of line to a roostertail. The old Hellbenders are what we used, as they are very stable with the rearward pull. Some will run sideways with the rear tension. Also, hellbenders have a swivle on the rear of the bait for a small spinner. White hellbender and a white roostertail was always the best. If u get lucky, might catch a big walleye on the crank.
  21. Lilley, wonder if we can set up the song to play while we are on site?
  22. Techno, always loved that one. Denjac, take good care of that one, your blessed.
  23. Bill, as always thanks for doing all u do in taking care of this precious resourse we have. I have a question. Is it illegal to place homemade brushpiles in the lake? And if not, is it ok to use those pvc trees or the like?
  24. By no means am i in the league with u fellows, let me start, but i have caught several fish on the storm 5" pearl swimbait. Single hook. not the one with the assist treble. Largest, 4lb. large around buzzard. dont fish it alot, just when i think they are feeding on larger shad, mainly spring after the stickbite slows.
