+1. baxter to kim. fish the "sides" of the long points. target 15 to 20 foot. FB's and shakey heads (I just never got into the c-rig). Also the split shot rig. And always have a rod with something for schoolers if they pop up.
Great job denjac. Glad to hear the top bite is still on in other parts of the lake. might have to take the kidos down there and let them play with them. Were you on main lake banks or pockets?

Sportsmans. Would like to use them but the are not open on the weekends and I cant get there before they close during the week. Also they dont have a website. So I have to go elsewhere.
A lure I am thinking of trying is a flutter spoon. Now I am not talking jigging, im talking the 4" to 6" flat 1ounce spoons that are being thrown out and stroked off the bottom. Just wondering if anyone has tried it on TR?
Jig and crank. You have the best two already. Maybe try a 5/8ths stand up football jighead with a beaver or craw imitation. Or a big swim bait. These are for the 'better' fish.
Bill, I wonder if a thermocline will set up for awhile with them pulling the water throu still as hard as they are. Shouldn't that keep it mixed to a point? Just a thought, would like to see a 'cline get going.
Old memory. First boat my dad ever owned. '78 ranger fish and ski. I was like 10. We toke it to Aunts Creek and put her on the water. Dad pulled out into the open water and opened her up. She stood up like a solider. Let of the gas and she layed down. Time and again, he would push the gas and again she would tip way way up in the air. Finally he had me climb, not crawl to the top of the boat and hold on to the trolling motor thinking that more weight in the front would plane her down. Did not happen but I got to ride back and forth by aunts creek probably 7 foot off the water. Trailered and back home, his friend starting explaining what the "trim" was. LOL....
No pattern. We caught fish on spinnerbait, t-rig, jig, worm, craw, you name it. Only had 7 keepers. 2 foot deep to 25 foot. Was truely a circus. They are spread out and doing different things. Wish I could help more.
Once you turn on RB, you dont need signs. The road runs right into the campground. Just keep going. Take it slow, you go down some big hills with a hard corner at the bottom. I would say you will have to drop a 5 in the box early, and by the pass on the way home. Doubt if they will use the 5 towards your yearly pass but maybe you can talk them into it.
Ok, lot of talk about fins and the mickey Jr. I have one mickey jr. but hate the color and it has not worked well (dont ask why the color, friend deal that didnt work out).
Has anyone used the standard size mickey? Probably going to get one and think it might bring bigger fish. Thoughts? Colors? thinking aurora black. (i.e. champ)

Awesome, tell Beck he the man. Im sure that lady had a fight of a life. Love catching those brown slounches. Had two in feb that went 5lb, 30min apart. Caught them on a-rig (which is like cheating, but when in rome). That one would have been 6.25 with eggs in feb. You two keep those clients grinning.
I have a pair of Solar Bat tattoo sunglasses. Awesome glasses. Frames just dont feel good. Have been worn one day on the water. Perfect condition. Box, glass bag, case and cleaning rag included. They were bought at Bass Pro. $180 on the box. Will sell for $100. Replay or pm.
