  8. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT IT SEEMS LIKE THIS INTERFERANCE BAR DOESNT HAPPEN IF THE SENSITIVITY IS SET VERY HIGH.
  9. IM PRETTY SURE ITS ALIGNED RIGHT, IVE NEVER HAD ANY OTHER PROBLEMS, WITH MY SENSITIVITY AT 90 I CAN SEE A GOOD DARK SPOT ON THE RIGHT OF THE GRAPH AS IT FALLS AND SEE THE BOUNCING LINES AND I JIG THE SPOON, AS I TURN IT LOWER THAN 85 THE DARK SPOT ( SPOON) GETS SMALLER AND SMALLER AND HARDER FOR MY UNIT TO PICK IT UP.....THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP SO FAR GUYS...
  10. I HAVE THE HDS 5, A MINKOTA TM, AND NO IT HASNT EVER INTERFERRED, BUT AGAIN IT SEEMED LIKE THE HIGHER THE SENSITIVITY THE LARGER THE INTERFERANCE BAR.
  11. I finally was able to get a buddy of mine to take me friday and show me how to spoon and catch fish watching the graph, after the storms passed through the K.C area we killed the fish in 60' over 30 fish 10 -15 keepers. Now the fun part was being able to watch the fish come off the bottom and come up to the spoon and watch it on the screen and get the bite at the same time. Needless to say Ill never mouth him anymore when he says he went out fishing and caught fish every drop for hrs at a time, because now I know its true. Well heres my question for anyone that has a Lowrance HDS unit and is willing to help. I went out yesterday in my boat to the exact spots as we did on friday since I knew there were fish in the area. I played with my graph for hours.. my final set up was like this. I turn it onto a grayscale instead of color and I have my Sensitivity level on 90, my Ping on 15 ( or 3/4) and scroll speed on a x2 normal.. its a pretty good scroll speed. Problem is with my sensitivity 85 or higher , its almost like its too sensitive and the bottom half of my graph screen on full and I cant see fish arcs or my spoon once it gets down to that dark layer. I was able to find a spot in the cove that didnt show anything on the bottom and I was able to watch a fish come off the bottom and eat my spoon. Now I do know what a brush pile or trees look like down there on my graph but this black mass was so thick on my screen from 40 to 60 ft ( the bottom) could it really be that full of shad? This massive black on my screen goes away if I turn my sensitivity down, but then I cant see my spoon.Oh and if I hit my trolling motor a little to stay in place it cast a thick black line vertically across my graph screen. If anyone has any tips Id appreciate it thanks.
  12. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY LM ACTIVITY UP THE KINGS, I KNOW YOU SAID YOU TRIED TO WART BITE, JUST CURIOUS TO ANY OTHER BITES. HAVENT TRIED THE KINGS IN THE FALL/WINTER AND MIGHT TRY IT THIS WEEKEND . FISHED THE KC AREA THIS WEEKEND WITH SHAKEY NED PRODUCING GOOD KY'S AND SMALLMOUTH OFF TIMBER BLUFFS, AND BLUFF ENDS. 13. any bass reports or info ? whats this nice weather doing to them. never been on loz thnking of coming up and trying it.
  14. 2 weekends ago a buddy and I fished that Big Bass Bash and each weighed in 3 fish a day with both of us in good money we fished out of the Kings both days it was dirty from the rains before the tourney and im sure with this past rain it will be the same. We hit the flats for the top water bite early in the am with the spook producing nice fish then moved on to getting in close to the cover and flipping dark jigs/ blk blu, dark brown ect and spinner baits in pretty shallow water when that sun started showing. My buddy ended up winning one of the hours with a 5.6 out of a fallen tree in the back of a cut with a spinnerbait. Flippin and bait'n produced lots of fish.. dont forget to hit the flats again with the grub and shakey... it got me in good money for one of the hours. gook luck let us know how it goes
  15. Plan on fishing this area this weekend never been on this side of the lake and wanted to know how the fishing was in these areas right now.. thanks for any info
  16. A buddy and I went up to Aldrich Sun. to try and head up the river and chase those whites. Put in before sunrise and could see the whites poppin figured it would be a nice day. Fished the bank across the ramp 2 dink LM real quick off the crank. Fished the rest of the bank waiting for a boat to head up river so we could follow. First time taking the big boat up the river and knew there were some shallow spots. started fishing toward the river picked up a couple more LM in the back of a pocket on the jig . Still fishing for whites finally motored up the river to try and get in on some whites and or crappie, boats and people everywhere. no luck and didnt see many others having any. So we head up to main lake to try and salvage the day bass fishin by then it was around 1pm. Got up past highpoint water was 48 where we stopped and the water was clear as can be. Oh and it was winnnddyy. decided head head back to the dirty water. Pulled up to a windy gravel flat with a transition 4 or 5 LM on the crank real quick . Went acros the bank to the timber bluff. water around 54 to 56 WINDY put the boat right on the bluff and started flipping the jig. Flipped at every stick of timber on the bluff bank and I mean on the bank less than 5 ft. besides never fishing stockton for bass we had salvaged the day and caught 30 or 40 more LM with 6 or 7 keepers. 5 best keepers went 19- 20 lbs. Ended up pulling the boat out at dark and had a pretty good time for the first outing on Stockton.
  17. I have a 1985 16' Monark bass boat and trailer with an 85' Mercury 50 hp motor. Clean little boat I bought nearly 5 years ago. Its been kept maintained and cleand after every outing. It has a Lowrance unit on the console and a Eagle unit on the front with an Minnkota foot pedal trolling motor. It has two live wells and a bait well.It comes with two deep cycle trolling batteries and one starting battery. It has a 12 gallon fuel cell. The 50 hp on the back does great with fuel mileage. I extended the front deck and added more tackle storage. I am asking 2,900. No problems just time to upgrade. For more info or pics: Sebastian0601@gmail.com
  18. Went out yesterday around 3, it was windy but I couldnt sit in class and I wanted to go fish. I fished mostly main lake points and channel swings, picked up 5 on one bank all of them went over 2lbs. then the last one I had hooked before I was going to head home broke me off near the boat and he was a bigg'in 5+ I'm guessin. Went out today around 2 when the rain calmed and caught one smallie when the wind picked up. I saw the gray clouds rolling in and decided to head home.
  19. What methods would one use to catch them.? and what type of stucture should i look for?
  20. I was wondering when the walleye run up to powersite and when is a good time to catch them up there..?
  21. Had a club tournament Friday 29th from 6pm to midnight out of Long Creek. Hit a couple spot we had pre-fished earlier that week with no luck then right before dark we hit out honey hole. A long flat off of a bluff point with deep channel drop off. Caught some short fish then a keeper, then right at dark my partner caught his 4.8 lbs. throwing the shaky head, watermelon red flake, green pumpkin purple zoom finesse worm 25 to 35 ft range from the flat to the drop off. Moved from there to another bluff chunk rock transition point to catch his smallie and a couple other good hits. Pretty slow after that until about 11 when we went back to our spot. Partner wasn’t feeling so great so his fishing slowed down . 11:52 caught a fish tossed him in the boat to measure 14 1/2 threw him back and left for weigh in. Ended up winning big bass. and got beat out of first by little over a pound. 1st had 5 fish at 11 some lbs ours 3 fish 10 something. Lots of keepers caught that night and a huge 4.10 lb walleye caught that someone brought in. Others admit to loosing lots of big fish so the night was good.
  22. Well I hit Fellows again with a buddy. Got on the water at 7 looked for a top water bite no luck. one short fish on a brush pile near the weed beds. Around 11 we were fishing a wind blown bank on the south arm and I hooked into this 4lb largemouth on a shaky head with a zoom finess worm watermelon red flake. no deeper than 10' of water. Good luck out there guys Levi
  23. Got my pics for the last post I made.
