  1. All of my fish came on an a-rig. Graphed single bass under balls of shad and had to drag the bottom to get bit. They did not want to chase at all. Caught no short fish. Smallest was 3# and biggest was 4.62. If you find fish right now, don't leave. Every fish came in a 30 yard stretch I fished all tournament
  2. Thanks. All our fish came around the dying shad. I don't think there was many places where they weren't dying
  3. they paid 7 places but only 6 teams weighed in. 6th, 5th, and 4th all had 1 fish
  4. 18.24 ended up winning it with 14+ taking second. Only 6 of the boats weighed in fish. I had the 5 fish limit for 18.24. We fished hard all day and only ended up with 6 bites, granted they were the right ones
  5. no, the tournament was cancelled on sunday
  6. It is today
  7. fished a small tournmaent out of moonshine today, think 7 boats. We struggled to get bit, ended up with 4 keepers for about 10 lbs, all on the rig. I think the winners had 20+ lbs. Tried looking for deep fish but during a tournament is not the best time to learn a new technique. Caught some fish on a megabass but all short. All our keepers came around cow creek in the backs of windblow gravel pockets
  8. maybe 1-2 second pause and jerking the rod hard to get a reaction bite. i was in shallow enough water that i broke the bills on 2 megabass and cracked a body on one.
  9. I went out yesterday, launched at indian point. ended up with 14.85 in my best 5, all smallmouth except for one 4.95 largemouth. stayed between indian and cow creek fishing any point that had wind blowing and ripping a jerkbait. fish were shallow <10 fow. Threw a wiggle wart and spinnerbait as well and had 1 fish on each. Ended up with 13 keepers, mostly smallmouth
  10. Had 4 fish that would have been legal. All about 2-1/2 lbs. Bunch of shorts are shallow. I'm just waiting for the big fish to show up
  11. Yeah, caught some bass. Fish were on a spinnerbait, buzzbait, and wiggle wart. Fish were relatively shallow, 5-10 fow. I was in the RB area last week and water was 55-57, yesterday it was 54. I really thought it would have cooled more. Couldn't get a bite on a jerkbait
  12. I did most of the day today. Wouldn't have been so bad if I could have caught more fish
  13. I sat in at RB saturday am and primarily fished around that area and up towards birch branch. Stayed on the wind blown flats and shallow. Caught bass early on a white buzzbait where the wind wasn't as bad and once we were in the wind, threw both a spinnerbait and squarebill. Caught about as many white bass as blacks. Ended up bringing home 9 big whites with my best 5 bass around 12 lbs. Had one good one over 4 lbs right in with the whites.
  14. He came for a few of them. Some of the other conlon's fished as well, Kenny and joe
  15. +1 on the Polar Bear Tournament. I fished the one on Stockton last sunday (32 boats) and was very well ran with some very good fishermen. Randy always does a great job
  16. Floated from Delaware to shelving today. Did not catch a lot of fish but had 1 good one. Most fish absolutely missed the buzzbait and had very few bites on a jig. If you found skinny, fast moving water with rocks you could catch all kinds of small spots and small mouth on the buzzbait or small crankbait. Overall a good day just to be out
  17. Yeah, for how tough it was. Lot of 4 and 5 lb fish weighed in but just keepers to go with them. Had 38 boats show up. I think I caught 3 fish total. Thank goodness my partner decided to pick up my slack and at least bring a limit in
  18. Just a reminder that there is another Friday night tournament this evening. 7 pm to 1 am, State Park (new). $50 entry fee and if this if your first tournament it would be $55 (membership fee). Been averaging around 30 boats and would be happy to have any of you guys join us. My name is Cole, so come up and say hi if we haven't met. I drive a blue/silver Phoenix and will be there when you sign up/pay entry fee. Thanks everyone
  19. There is no motor limitation and as long as you have some form of an aerator, it's good. That could be a big cooler with a couple stone aerators inside (battery operated ones). Just want to make sure the fish will survive
  20. Fish main lake points, a ledge or deep water close by is a plus. or any brush and fish a shaky head, Carolina rig, jig, big worm. Lately the jig bite has been very good for me dragging it in 18-25 fow. Now if you night fish, after dark the jig bite has went away and a 10" worm or salty craw has been the ticket
  21. I looked through the rules again and there are no regulations on boat size. Now as far as aerators, i've never had that question. I will talk to the guy running it with me and let you know what he says. I don't see an issue as long as you can keep the fish alive. I believe in 3 tournaments so far, we've only lost 2-3 fish amongst all the teams
  22. ive been curious about these tournaments and wondering if the "all nighters" still go on. When is the next one?
  23. $5 membership for first time and $50 for tournament. Membership paid back in championship. $50 includes big bass. StocktonFridaynighters.com
  24. Thank you and appreciate you coming. Welcome back anytime. Sorry I didn't get to meet ya and talk a little. My friend said he met you and enjoyed talking to ya.
  25. 28 teams showed up Friday night. Winners had a little over 18. We finished second and had big bass of 5.8. Lot of fish biting just 1 big bite
