  1. I would go up-river from the Mill for sure. If I fish the river 200 days per year...I fish Dawt Mill, well, 0 days of those 200. Unless the river is up and the stripers are running to the dam, but that is as close as I get to fishing Dawt Mill. The islands above Patrick have been fishing well and they have great Euro nymphing style water. Blair has also been fishing well. You can't go wrong with the selection of flies you listed too. Brian
  2. Very cool Justin! Great job man. One weird thing....I was listening to that song while I hit the play button on your video...I had to stop the video, listen to the song, stop the song, listen to the video to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Brian
  3. The eggs spilled in his boat Russ....it's just bad karma to not eat them--kind of like having a banana in the boat. Ness, the timelapse was in post processing. Sat the camera on a tripod for maybe 15 minutes---the morning shot was actually better than what I was hoping....didn't realize the fog was doing what it was doing along the hill so it worked out pretty neat. Have some ideas for some timelapse stuff during winter if I get lucky. Again guys, thanks a lot. It is always good to know they are fun to watch.
  4. Yeah, I have NO moves...have no idea where he got that. That it exactly the plan Gavin, I would love for them to out-fish me asap--wouldn't take much!
  5. Thanks guys, very much appreciated!
  6. Thanks guys!! Yeah, I ate a scud in the Summer Video so someone had to eat something in this video...the opportunity presented itself and Rusty was the lucky dawg! Not bragging (well maybe a little) but my eldest pretty much is a machine Glen...it is crazy how much he changed in a few months, little dude is good. Brian
  7. Hey guys, Totally feel like I am stepping on Eric's toes...just so happened that I got the Fall video edited around the same time he posted that I have taken to really, really enjoying putting these review videos together. It is really cool to not only get to see so many cool/fun/entertaining things while guiding and simply fishing with buddies but to get some of that on video and share with everyone else takes the cake. We had a good fall on the NFOW...we got to see some low and extremely clear water on the river for really the first time in a couple of years which, in some ways, was actually kind of neat (in other ways it was a little frustrating at times---gotta love fishing) but as you will see we caught fish...and even one or two of those dirty browns you always hope will show their nasty face during fall. My 7 and 5 year old sons really started to come into their own as fly fisherman through the summer and that is the coolest process I have ever seen. The eldest flat-out took advantage of his abilities and the crazy big fish in Dry Run this Fall....he makes it look easy and seriously makes me wish I had started when I was anywhere near his age. Needless to say I am a 'touch' proud of those little guys. Enjoy! (hint-hint, be sure to watch in HD)

  9. Awesome! Bet he didn't like it a bit. Brian
  10. I started with slideshows too....actually I started with EXACTLY what you did, a year in review slideshow of photos I took while guiding. It's a lot of fun (again, the nerd in me coming out) and the "Final Cut'ish" look is a TOTAL compliment. I have done a lot of stuff in Windows Movie Maker and THAT looked really, really good. The cool thing about WMM...you can get a TON of free plug-ins to help you out. Check out http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forums/Default.aspx they are crazy good and give great tips and pointers. Keep 'em coming! Brian
  11. Very Nice! What program are you editing in, looks very Final Cut'ish. Working on a Fall video now.....just realized I have WAY too much video to do just one so I guess I'll do a Fish Porn Cut too.
  12. I would row that boat any day!
  13. Very cool Justin! Watch it I may be calling you for multi-boat trips!! Brian
  14. Ahhh, gotcha! I would have guessed that the one rowing when I first saw you guys would be the one with the "looks" (I couldn't resist!) Would love to have a sit-down, wade-in, float, whatever with you man! Brian
  15. Dig it!! It was nice meeting you and getting a chance to check out the boat. Well done! Brian
  16. I know Justin! One of these days we will figure out that this area just sucks.
  17. Wow, thanks for the kind words guys! The Fall video is already in the works and is looking to be a good one...TONS of guiding so lets hope we get some cool stuff!(fingers crossed) Shaping up to be a gorgeous fall!! Brian
  18. Hey guys, I kind of started these re-cap videos this Spring and thought I would stick with them season by season. I have a ton of fun doing them and hope you enjoy! So here is the guiding/general fishing/uber fun video of Summer 2010.
  19. 2010 Summer Guiding Season Re-Cap.
