  1. I never say much about this subject anymore, I used to preach at guys all the time, I quit many years ago but I did something different than most people. I put that money aside every week that I spent on cigarettes. It's much easier now, because I bank on line and can move the money every week in just a few minutes, Right now that acct has almost $30,000.00 in it. That's right 30 grand!!!!! I will continue this until I retire in few years, And then??? I don't know maybe a new boat, or new truck or a trip of a lifetime with my wife. I 'm not saying this to brag about the money, just to give people a little added incentive to quit. I still suffer from the effects of many years of heavy smoking. OK, sermon's over.
  2. What is the name of that book you mentioned?
  3. I lived on a pretty good bass lake in FL a few years ago. Nobody left their boats at their docks. Slips or lifts, it didn't matter. Most of the time they stole the boat!!! It would be found later stripped. The crooks usually used a chain saw to cut the motor from the stern. It's a shame, but that's just the way ii is.
  4. I got a new pick up last year that would burn E85. I was up in Iowa last weekend. Gas was $2.79 at most stations. I filled up with E85 for $2.29 I didn't get quite as good mpg on the trip home, but I like the idea of not sending that money to the Middle East. Personally, I think we need to explore every form of alternative energy available.
  5. My 9 year old granddaughter has had Type 1 for about 2 years. I never realised what a terrible disease this is until then. I hope for all affected that a cure can be discovered.
  6. I used to use Falcon rods until I had a similar experience as yours. Now I use St Croix and have never had a problem. Maybe the store you bought it at could help you.
  7. Hello everyone, I have been reading your forum for awhile and thought I better get registered. I live in KC,MO. I fish this area most of the time. I get down to Branson several times a year. Mostly spin fishing, I'm not too good with a fly rod.
