I agree that the internet has ruined many a fishing spot. But since it was posted in the Shoal Creek forum it really doesn't matter. Honestly, if it hadn't been posted here, I likely wouldn't have seen it, since I only get notifications for a few posts on OAF. Even if I did see it on a generic forum thread, I would have recognized it just as quickly. I know there are others who know this location too, one in particular. I will not give up the location.

I caught a parr marker a couple of weeks ago. At least you caught a few.

The Muskrat incident was unfortunate, but I'm sure it's out there doing whatever Muskrats do. I'm just glad it didn't chew a hole in my boot.

The bigguns definitely showed themselves today. I jumped off 3 myself. Oh yeah, Ollie wins today by one. Way to go Ollie!!

Yep. I didn't catch a lot but I caught them several different ways. One more in the books. Pretty good day.

I don't even know how many fish I caught ,but I jumped off at least 3 really nice fish. Fun day.

I did catch one more on a zebra midge just after you got down there, but I didn't count it because Ollie called it at 11:30.

The browns were typical of the stocking size, between 8 and 10 inches. The rainbows were a little better with a couple up to 14 inches. They all loved my wooly bugger.

15 caught 8 bows 7 browns Bonus: 2 largemouth, 1 chub

I wear a mask and keep a good distance from Ollie when we fish. Lol Safety first.

I was pleased with the quality of the Browns. I only wish there were a few more fish. There's always next year.

Thanks for the crown there Ollie. Lol The actual count was 3 browns, all caught on the jerk bait, but I won't make a big deal out of it. ✌️

It was a little slow but still much better than fighting the crowds. It will only get better. The hotter it gets the better it gets.
