  1. It's chicken broth. And it's delicous.
  2. Are you kidding! The JalapeƱo one are pretty good. So are the smoked ones!
  3. They make a decent hot link. And their balogna is one of the best for putting on the smoker.
  4. It's ok. I have come to accept it and have learned to live with it. Serenity now!
  5. He has me blocked. He has no idea that what he said is what I have said for years and in this thread.
  6. Hang on folks. Grab your medicine. I agree with this post.
  7. That's not how you determine harvest of any species.
  8. That's the DNR and EPA that monitors that. The MDC is charged with managing fish and wildlife. The catch and keep crowd pays taxes too. And that is where the balancing act comes in. The MDC is charged with managing for everyone. But you don't want that. You want everyone to play by your rules. You fish maybe a half dozen different rivers for smallmouth specifically. But you want state wide regs that limit others use of the resource.
  9. Here we go with the MDC bashing again. Y'all sound like a bunch of welfare recipients. Looking to the government to make your life easier. You do not want to have to work for the big fish. You want the government to stomp on the rights of those that do not view the resource as you do. Suck it up buttercup. If you want something you have to work for it. If the rivers just freely give up their secrets, what fun would it be?
  10. Sorta hard to argue against their management plan when you keep posting pics of monster fish.
  11. Just wanted to make sure everyone was paying attention. Or it's auto correct fault? Or I didn't pay attention to what my thumb was typing. Im going with the last one!
  12. I've been known to express my opinion on a subject. Not so much anymore. We used to have great discussions here. Those days are long gone. You have to walk lock step with a couple of rouge groups. No worries about apologizing. I have a great deep respect for you. If you put me in line, I needed it.
  13. I don't think I normaly post anarchy type comments. I think that is wrench. I take that back. I know its him. I mostly side with law enforcement. And common sense. I will not dispute your word.
  14. Yeah they're just sucking the free tax payer money.
  15. How about using a little more Andy Griffith justice and less writing tickets for everything to increase revenue? I'll bet half of the case load is BS charges anyway.
  16. Nothing from me. Just enjoyed reading this.
  17. I started with that size. And it's really more than strong enough.
  18. Yes I am. Our waters are just as clear as anywhere. Personally I wouldn't waste my time with a leader. Some people swear by them, I swear at them. What makes people think fish can't see the leader? I use snaps on most rods because I do a lot of switching out during the day. But on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits I highly recommend that you tie directly. It works much better as you don't get line tangles in the arms of the blades. I also tie directly to the jig head when I'm goggle eye fishing. It just looks better to me. And this is where braid really shines. You can pull your jig out of the brush! Just bend the hook back to its factory setting and put her back in the water. I use braid on every size plug or jig that I have. It has never compromised the performance. I've pulled fish out of the brush up to around 4lbs or so on the 4lb dia line with my 5'6" UL Falcon. I started out with Crystal Fireline crappie fishing. I also used it trout fishing with 1/60th jigs and been successful. The sensitivity of braid far exceeds mono. Braid tells me everything that is going on under the water. You will feel the subtlest bite. There is nothing you can't do better with 832 than anything else out there. That's my opinion. Others may not agree.
  19. I've tried two spools of PP. I've hated it both times. Personal results may vary though. I'll never go back to mono or any like product. And no I dont use a leader. I've wondered if I'm maybe not maximizing my numbers on a given trip because of that but 1, I don't think the fish are that advanced 2, I'm still staying plenty busy enough. I haven't seen a noticeable increase or decrease in numbers. But I have noticed a massive decline in break offs and reties due to wear.
  20. I find it to be much smoother in operation for lack of a better term. To me it's softer, as in not as stiff like wire, than PP. After a day it will be as limp as any mono but like Gavin stated, you can loose a digit! It is tough! I use a 4lb dia 10lb test on my spinning rods and a 6 lb dia 20lb test on baitcasters. You can actually stop your canoe in a riffle without it coming even close to breaking. It is severely underrated strength wise. And again it operates as smooth or smother than any line on the market. It will last for ever too. Easily 2-3 years and you'll only change out a few yards because it had lost its color and near white. But still every bit as strong as the day you spooled it on.
  21. Ive switched to Suffix 832 on all Spinning and Baitcasters. It has some pros and cons vs mono but I find the pros far outweigh the cons.
  22. I thought you preached Power Pro
  23. Oh yeah!!!
  24. Actually I keep the slaw and dressing seperate. This will maximize freshness and crispness. I put the slaw on and then drizzle on the desired amount of dressing. I also do a pulled pork wrap with slaw. Holy cow good!
