I find it to be much smoother in operation for lack of a better term. To me it's softer, as in not as stiff like wire, than PP. After a day it will be as limp as any mono but like Gavin stated, you can loose a digit!
It is tough! I use a 4lb dia 10lb test on my spinning rods and a 6 lb dia 20lb test on baitcasters. You can actually stop your canoe in a riffle without it coming even close to breaking. It is severely underrated strength wise. And again it operates as smooth or smother than any line on the market. It will last for ever too. Easily 2-3 years and you'll only change out a few yards because it had lost its color and near white. But still every bit as strong as the day you spooled it on.
