  1. Have you been over to the Table Rock board lately? Boy let me tell you what.....
  2. Oh don't stress your dress. It was a bit of humor as was a few others posts.
  3. Close it then. I guess you going off topic was just fine.
  4. Ok I just made a batch. I tweeked the recipe again. I used about 1 TBS of Cholula Chipotle instead of a half tsp of green pepper sauce. I also also used a 1/3c each of Miracle Whip and the Just Mayo I was telling you guys about. I also left out the Pimento's. I used Pepper Jack and Habanero cheeses with a bit of Colby Jack thrown in. Holy Cow! I believe I'll be having grilled cheese for supper!
  5. Looks hotter than it is. I can just barely eat stuff hotter than most women so that I still look cool. The cheeses are not hot at all. At least I didn't think so. I actually bought them to make some pimento cheese after talking about it the other day. I just haven't done it yet so I put some on the pizza.
  6. They are one of the best things going! Thin and crispy!!
  7. Simple homemade pizza from tortilla wrap.
  8. I want to say though, that I thought I read somewhere years ago that 38* was the temp for Bud. But don't hold me to it. I shouldn't have said 45*. The more I think about it, I think you are right, it should be cooler than that. I'm going to have to do some digging around.
  9. To be honest Ness, I've never measured the temp of my beer. But I noticed early on that the colder the beer was, the milder the flavor. But a few degrees warmer, but still cold, it had a much more robust flavor. Most larger beers they suggest serving between 40* and 45* from what I remember. So take the 45* with a grain of salt.
  10. Ha! I figure you got that all worked out down on Taney. Probably the west coasters though. They been throwing in for years. They just didn't know it had a name.
  11. Nothing wrong with The Banquet beer. That's another one that is old school. And no light beer either. They call it light beer because it's for lightweights! Full flavor or nothing! I can't help you with the headache thing. Never had one unless I had a hangover. And I haven't had one of those in 30 years. Water is your friend. So is time.
  12. Oh I'm back-and-forth you know. A point I would like to make on BBQ though. I think all BBQ is good. Weather it be Texas, Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis,South Carolina, Mississippi or wherever. I don't think one is better than the other. And I don't think anyone that truly appreciates barbecue would put one over the other either. Each are unique to their own area. And each is delicious. As far as Budweiser, I've been a fan since a young age. I truly enjoy the crisp, clean, robust, flavor of Budweiser. I do not like it out of a keg. I should say I do not prefer it out of the keg. Bottles are fine but I think you truly get the best flavor out of the can. And I'm quite sure there's nobody here that is a fan of canned beer. Even if it was alcohol free I would enjoy it. If it still had the same flavor. It along with many other beers such as Pabst Schlitz Miller and such were brewed in the true German fashion. These are the beers that built America. They were drank by the men that built America. The men that did the hard labor. They ain't the sissy beers and wines that people are drinking today.
  13. You are aware that Boulevard also sold out? To an overseas company.
  14. Some people just do not enjoy the finer taste of a superior lager. True they do not put chocolate cherry wheat berries in it. Or orange peel with anchovies. But they do use the finest hops, rice, barley, and their exclusive Beechwood aging. This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which cost so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood aging produces a taste, a smoothness, and a drink ability you'll find in no other beer at any price.
  15. All lesser subordinates are always jealous of the King.
  16. One playoff appearance in 22 years does not make a dynasty. As far as BBQ food, there are two distinct styles and flavors that I think both towns do very well. As for BBQ sauce, I think KC wins that one. The Royals have had 2 good years out of the last 30. Not time to thump the chest yet.
  17. I've tried many, many, many, different beers. There is a reason it is the King of beers. And any true connoisseur of beer also knows that the King needs to be enjoyed at the proper temp. About 45*. Cheaper beers, such as those on SW Boulevard, need to be colder to mask the flavor.
  18. I smell another cross state rivalry. STL has better baseball. KC has better bbq sauce. STL has better beer KC has better chips
  19. Pfffft!! Like it states on the package....Legendary!! The best BAR NONE!!
  20. Makes you wonder doesn't it.
  21. Happy trails Trav. If you swing through this way give me a holler.
  22. Some things never change my friend.
  23. That is odd. My psychiatrist said the same thing. I shot her.
