  1. And Mitch was the only one that got the point I was making. Somewhat. The rest of you were flailing wildly out of control. Such is life on the big marble.
  2. Not upset in the least. It was the irony and hypocrisy that I found entertaining. Just wanted to share. I didn't figure that someone of your elevated stature would comprehend it. And I wanted the 5 of you to get your giggles in.
  3. Yeah that's qiute a statement alright.
  4. I see an old friend, Trav, has showed back up on the forum. I was looking around his profile and happened to stumble upon this old thread. As I read the highlighted, underlined sentence, I couldn't help but think about a post from Ol Mitch himself to me just the other day. And then another from the east coast posse compared me to a fence post. An interesting read non the less.
  5. The MDC never said it was to reduce the population. They did say it was because it has been shown that few reach the current regulation limit. I'm with you two 1000% on the tourneys!
  6. Dang Rick! I think you've been holding out on us!
  7. And then there are fence posts that are smarter than some people. Its a give and take situation.
  8. Yeah I think you just sealed your fate on ever joining the exclusive St.L club.
  9. Yeah she's a nut. I didn't even make it a full minute into it to know she was one of them that just happen to be on the outside.
  10. I spent 30 days in Idaho one winter. At one of the watering holes that I frequented, there was a young lady of Mexican descent that went around peddling tamales. When I inquired of the local patrons about them they told me how delicious they were. So the next time she came in I bought a couple. They were $1 a piece. These things are about six or 8 inches long and an inch or so in diameter. Not skimpy by any means. They were each individually wrapped in for foil. These are absolutely the best freaking tamales I've ever eaten in my life! Not too moist and not too dry. They were shredded pork and spiced perfectly. I made sure that I was there every time she made her rounds! And when it was time for me to come home I bought $30 worth and packed a cooler!
  11. You sure are going to up your LIKE quota with that one! You'll get the whole StL5 for sure!
  12. No you didn't. But I do have a gang of stalkers that like to pounce on every word that I say. So I just wanted to be clear before they got their panties in a wad.
  13. Scotch is most definitely an acquired taste. I never acquired it. But I do raise a toast to those that have.
  14. I bet he doesn't say it this time either. Not that I care. Just pointing out the perfectionist imperfections.
  15. It is. I'm just saying that's what I remember it being like years ago. I wasn't meaning to imply this was pic from T-Rock.
  16. Not my pic but this is what crappie fishing on Table Rock used to look like. Everybody had limits like this. It's also why people didn't keep 10 inch fish. But then came a wave of wannabe's that didn't have a clue. I'm sure if you worked hard enough and caught it on the right day, you could do it again.
  17. I ventured into the realm of homemade tamales. I had some leftover pork from some pork tacos and and always wanted to try this, so I did. Reviews are mixed. I liked them. But it's a lot of work. But all good things take a lot of work.
  18. We had a spot up the Elk River arm onGrand that always produced. About 6 or 8 a day. Day after day after day. You would never limit out but could always score some fish. It was in an old channel at a bend. There was one stick sticking out of the water. You always had to be on the old upstream side and always had to throw to the right of it. You had to throw about 6-8 feet past it and let it drift back. Nothing else would work. This lasted about 5-6 years until a flood finally moved the brush out.
  19. I haven't seen it yet either but will toss out there that movie making has made major leaps and bounds in the 40+ years since JJ. Not bashing you in the least, just making an observation.
