  1. Bunches? In every one of those states? And that may just be it. If it doesn't take any talent, what's the use? Where is the challenge? That's why people climb Mt. Everest. Not Taum Sauk. Hunters don't consider specially fed big game world class. It's about the hunt. The chase. I mean, I'm all for catching big fish. Please don't misunderstand that. But I would never consider myself a master trout fisherman because I catch a ton of 20 inch Rainbows in a Blue Ribbon section. Im like Joe, there is a lot more to "World Class" than just size.
  2. All the overhead of the glitzy stores is what provides jobs. I may shop online but I buy from brick and mortar.
  3. That's why you have to eat them all the time. So yer belly stays used to um!
  4. It's the wife's fav. I say put some frosting on it and stick a candle in it!
  5. I put some ham in there that I smoked last weekend.
  6. So the consensus is that "World Class" means high numbers of easily caught large fish? In my "Let grab you another beer" voice, of those states you mentioned Mitch, how many 20 inch fish have you caught in those states?
  7. When I get to feeling nostalgic, I bust out my classic Crock Pot. Its a perfect evening for this!
  8. I do a lot of thinking when I'm out and about. Maybe too much. So today I get to wondering, just what is "World Class" smallmouth fishing? I think it may have been mentioned at some point years ago. It seems the only point that gets driven over and over is that one must consistently on numerous occasions catch 19-20 inch smallmouth. Surly there is more to it than that. What is it that constitutes "World Class" and what is it that makes smallmouth fishing in Missouri suck so bad? I had another thought but I forgot it already. Dang it!
  9. No. Better. There was some video floating around that he made. There is also some discussion about it somewhere on here.
  10. Though it didn't get anywhere near the press coverage here on OAF as the Ned did, this craw, that was actually designed and manufactured by our own Mitch, hands down works better than any craw on the market today! He has made an exact replication of crawdad. I highly recommend you trying it!
  11. I will. Since you are so quick to criticize them. Rah rah rah
  12. Then you should know and appreciate the need for the stamp. It is odd though you didn't know it was federal.
  13. It is Federal. Has no bearing what so ever on the MDC. The last increase was 1991 when it went to $15. Its has been long over due for an increase and all monies go to waterfowl wetland habitat. Do you duck hunt?
  14. Not interested facts. Screws up agendas.
  15. I'm thinking it will too. Also picked this up today. A little runny but really good. It has a nice smokey flavor that I'm already thinking about using for in different applications.
  16. Oh heck yeah! Some of the best! And really there is a ton of stuff you can do with the left over brine! Im thinking about next year putting my own peppers on there. Will it take out some of the heat?
  17. I'm not liking this update one bit. Too hard to navigate and settings don't seem to help or even stay set! But anywho wanted to share this with you. The pickle ilse seems to be in constant upgrade. Found these little gems today. And surprisingly they taste a lot like a bread and butter pickle to me. And very crisp. I suggest trying them. And I would like to add that for the money these are the best jalapeƱos to get. They are not fiery hot but they have a little heat to them. I keep this big jar in the refrigerator in the garage and I keep refilling a smaller jar that I keep in the refrigerator in the house. I also put some of these through a chopper and make my own jalapeƱo relish.
  18. Ok. Yeah I thought you meant you didn't have to print it out yourself.
  19. Are you sure? https://www.mo.wildlifelicense.com/start.php
  20. We gotta do that again! I had a freaking blast!
  21. Well I am getting better.
  22. I was thinking that but didn't want to mention it. Thanks for doing so!!
  23. Nice job bud! Its been quite some time since I've seen you. You still do a little grabbing? I think of you every time I fire up that $1 stove!
  24. Now I'd try a slice of that!! Almost looks like the ingredients for a minced meat pie! Which I absolutly love!!!
  25. I like pickled okra the best. It's pretty dang good. But hell, anything pickled is pretty dang good. I don't get all crazy about fried okra like some do. There are a ton more fried veggies that are a ton better!
