Really Outboards need to be run. If I had another boat I would try running it 3+ times a week year round. My last Boat was a 18/60 with 70HP Nissan. I can't explain to my wife it was just too big for the Niangua River. I sold it so I no longer am able to buy another. I'd like to have a 16/48 with about a 20+ HP Motor on it. oneshot

Wild Oaks can Camp any way you like but has Shower House, Pool, Store has Movie Night on Friday and Live Music on Saturday. During Summer Months. They depend on Adventures for their Floats. Adventures is Primitive Camping and about Cheapest around. They will do Shuttle if you want. River Front has always been good to me. If you want to Party NRO. oneshot

I was told yesterday that they did a count in the park and counted 100+ Deer a day in each section hunted. I have seen herds but it was like 6 at one time. I haven't seen any over browsing anywhere. Got to admit I have seen stupid Deer that would let a person pet them but not that many. oneshot

Don't know yet got to check with Linda at Adventures. Wait she does the Float Thing. Last time I did the Float Thing they got mad at me because they were 5 hours late and I had Water Patrol looking for them. Truth I'm not set up for Camping. Best place that I know of now is Wild Oaks and I just like hanging out down there. Good people. oneshot

Found if you put Classic, Rustic or say Sports Bar on stuff you can automatically double the price. And if you go to what use to be the worst part of town and call it Historic that is where you want to go. I can take you in my Classic Pickup down to Historic Bennett Springs State Park and you can go to the Sports Bar just across the river. 😎 oneshot

Have always used Mono but have considered Braided but understand Knots slip more with Braided. Which do you prefer and what about knots?? oneshot

We went on the Train Trip. Branson liked fishing there until we went to Forsyth. Going to be up St. Charles for FEMA Conference next year. Was wanting to go to Minnesota Bear Hunting, she said there is nothing to do up there. I'm thinking plenty of fishing. I like Minnesota last time I was there thought give me a Shotgun and Rod and Reel and have fun. oneshot

She is down right now depending on me taking care of her. Yes doing Dishes, Laundry and such. She knows better I had a Charter Booked, Hurricanes and my Health stopped this. Red Tide was further South. Been checking out Shore Fishing, I have Nice Surf Rods. She likes swimming at the Swim Areas at Truman Lake. After 36 years she knows what goes on in my head. oneshot

Well give me a place and I'm thinking what fishing is in the area and what Rods to take. I have been known to sneak fish into some nice Hotels. Right now we are going with Airbnb so decide on where to Clean them and Freeze them in the Refrigerator Freezer. I mean come on, house on the river, they have to know. My wife why does it always involved Hunting or Fishing? I rather Sightsee. oneshot

Just had a Managed Hunt, 75 were allowed 3 Antlerless Deer. They killed 17 Deer. The Land Owners were all against the hunt and now the small number killed they say it don't justify any future hunts. Any thoughts on this? oneshot

My wife has been wanting to go to the Gulf. My Bad I always think Fishing or Hunting. Found a place on a River and 20 minutes away from the Gulf, found another place right on the Beach. We have a place next to Truman Lake and where we live is next to Bennett Springs State Park. How do you guys keep your train of thought off fishing on a trip? oneshot
