Hickory County don’t like me. Most time for me was Polk and Green Counties. Wish in a way we had a place in Ozark County. I use to like going down there hunting. Use to like camping there be miles from nothing. We have place in Laclede and Benton Counties. My Ex was from Laclede County back then her family was crazy Indian Loggers. Beat the something out of you just for fun. oneshot

What about Sassafras it is reported to cause Cancer. But maybe that is what is wrong with me eating all them wild things for years. My Grandma use to take Polk Berries for Arthritis. I remember going to school had an infected cut, put Salt Pork Fat on it. School Nurse had a fit. Dang Hillbillies and Hillbilly ways. oneshot

I was thinking the same about Wine because you don’t cook the berries but ferment them. Drank a 12 pack of Beer one time and gallon of Elderberry Wine. I was too drunk to fish and my Pickup rolled into Lamine River with me laying in the bed. oneshot

Actually Elderberries are a cash crop. Most Elderberries are imported. But I don’t need that many. oneshot

Interesting I was prescribed Zantac for years for Acid Reflux so I wouldn’t get Throat Caner now they say it might of gave me Prostate Cancer. oneshot

Anymore it is warm enough around here that a person can garden some bulk of the year. Like I told my Sister if I plant Potatoes I can leave them in the ground almost all Winter. I can leave Carrots and Turnips in for sure. oneshot

My Mother in Law has been quiet on the Boat. Today my Brother in Law was here. I don’t know why he bought a Boat he only has one good Arm? She is so much fun. 27 years ago she didn’t want me buying a bigger Motorcycle because I ride too fast. Couldn’t explain to her I could die just the same on either. We was talking about traveling. Best Place to Live in Hickory County

Don’t buy in Wheatland just too noisy with Car Races. Now we did have a place 5 miles North and loved the area but hated the house. We now live by Bennett Spring State Park and like the area. Pomme de Terre Lake is about 30 miles from here. We have a place by Truman Lake, like it there and really need to spend more time there. I would consider living on the West side of the county. Pomme de Terre, Stockton and Truman. All good Lakes. oneshot -
I know they are for safety but people wearing them you can’t read their lips. If they talk to me I just ignore them because I have no idea what they say. Had a woman talking to me the other day at the Hospital. Told her it didn’t do her any good talking to me because I couldn’t read her lips. oneshot
